This place is in need of there phone system to be improved I been trying to leave a message for my Dr or his nurse, but after a hour I still can't reach either of them. I'm having issues with my breathing and need to speak with him. They couldn't even find me in there records. After being in the hospital for a week I would think they would find me I like my Dr. But not liking OHSU. They are not customer friendly.

My wife and I had an appointment there for a stitch removal procedure. The entire procedure would take about 5-10 minutes. We waited for over 4 hours past our scheduled time just to be told to come over the next day. This is what happens when medical health is monopolized. For my wife's specific treat we have to be OHSU patients because they are the only one doing it. Therefore they give 0 fcks to customer service, your actuall well being, your time or your money. Absolutely disgusting.

Cannot understand how a hospital will not let you visit your loved ones. Mandates are being dropped everywhere and you have family dying in there and only one person can go see them. This policy makes no sense when you have thousands of people bustling through their everyday. The staff at the door are completely ignorant to families feelings coming into the hospital. Too busy on their cell phones to even make eye contact when you come in.

Such a positive, healing environment! Staff really seem to care and be resourceful, and the providers are sharp. You and your loved ones are in good hands. The views are spectacular and therapeutic, both Helens and Hood visible on clear days.

Not sure on your budget. Sixth avenue motel has discount rates for guests with people in the hospital. I'm not sure the criteria they need, and any motel/hotel in will have scetchy people at night, so make sure your car is locked and nothing visible.

AQ has been hazardous outside on the campus, same as all of Portland, all weekend. Outside air may improve starting today; search air quality Portland on Google to get a general sense. Interior air throughout hospital and offices is filtered for particles, though smoke scent may be present, per recent communications.

Across from the physicians pavilion. Look for Sam Jackson hall, and you will see glass doors that say Ohsu across from that. It has a crosswalk to Ohsu from Sam Jackson hall building across from it. It also had a row of wheel chairs to the left when you walk in the corridor. Straight through the doors to the registration desk that is across from the elevators. There is a large waiting area with fake fireplace as well. Its where I came in through and left through after surgery. Hope the info helps
