Great place to travel back in time .

Very well kept. Beautiful grounds. Knowledgeable and helpful Rangers. It is a well rounded look into life around an iron furnace in early America.

This was pretty neat place. They offer Ranger led tours or you can self tour the grounds to learn about life "back in the day".

There will be about 45 civilian reenactors there the weekend of Sept. 14th portraying the people who lived and worked at Hopewell in 1862. Come out and see us!!
We parked our 30 foot trailer and van with no problem. If you go to the parking area farther along, plenty of space along a solid grassy area. My son had his 20 foot plus truck there also.
