Fun public range. The limit of 6 rounds a clip is a bit cautious but I'll go back.

Went for the first time after purchasing the much needed hunting or range permit, if you don’t have either, the hunting permit is 10 bucks cheaper and allows you to utilize the range for free for a year. Beware that if you do not have a permit, a park ranger will appear out of nowhere and give you a hefty citation ( people got fined 400 dollars today). You can only shoot at paper that you put on the existing wood posts down range, bring tape or a nail gun. Also make sure you read the rules ( you can’t load more than 6 rounds at a time....you will get fined for this) Always stay aware of your surrounding, some people blatantly disregarded muzzle discipline which was a bit worrisome.

It's open all year long as long as you have a hunting permit or a range permit. Also, it may be closed for personal events.

You need a valid Pennsylvania hunter's license were a range pass, both of which you can get online or at any Walmart. I think the range pass is $25 and it's good for a year. If you don't have it and the game warden rolls up there will be a fine. You can shoot anything under 50 cal. As long as you're not using any type of incendiary, armor piercing, or explosive rounds. Also you cannot use fully automatic. I believe there has to be one second between each shot fired, you are not allowed to use any sort of bird, turkey, or buckshot from a shotgun. You are also only allowed to have six rounds in a magazine / pistol while shooting, and three rounds in your no matter what capacity it is. When you go to the range there will be a board with the rules on it, it will echo a lot of what I just said. Just an FYI, this is the most unsafe public range I've ever been to and I've been to alot. It's not the range that's unsafe, it's the idiots that go there. You will see
