The staff is attentive and professional. Brought my bike in for a tune-up and was very satisfied with the service. I recommend Cascade Bikes! Thank you Matt!

Long story short: They were super helpful in person, did great work for the most part, but some of the work they did I didn't want them to do, which happened because they didn't call me before as I had requested, and I ended up having to undo or fix some of what they did. Proactive communication! Will still be returning though. Short story long: I went in to get some advise about how to proceed with new brake levers for a single speed. Got great advise, sold me a brake set upgrade for cheap, and told me about WashCo where I could find used parts. Once I had what I needed, I brought it all in for Cascade to setup for me. I asked the sales guy who wrote up the order to tell the mechanic to call me before he started to discuss what I wanted to have done. I also called twice during the week to say the same thing. Alas, a week later, I got a call saying the bike was done. When I picked it up, there were a couple issues with it, which I then had to undo and fix myself: the cable housing for the rear brake was zip-tied to the top tube instead of run through the cable guides, the fork was drilled out to fit the new front brake even though the rear brake wouldn't fit (so ended up pulling it off and replacing the original), and they told me the reason the rear brake wouldn't fit was because the mounting bolt was too short (it wasn't, the brake arms were too short, which I found out after trying to mount it myself). EDIT to add: they also returned the replaced front brake without the original mounting hardware. Proactive communication could have easily prevented this from happening.

The service staff is competent and friendly. The store has done a great job staffing the service team. Whenever I go in for a flat tire or whatever, they help me right away. At other bike shops, there can be a long delay getting your bike fixed. My only complaint is that a 11AM open time seems really late.

Had a incredibly negative experience today at Cascade Bikes. I’ve been going here for 5 years (it’s right around the corner from my house - very convenient) for all my bike tune-ups, repairs and supply needs. I recently purchased a new E-Bike (not from Cascade) and have really enjoyed the warmer, dry weather of late. Had a flat tire when I came out to ride my bike home - caught a small thorn on my ride this morning. Had my wife come pick me up, put the bike in the back of the truck and drove over to Cascade. Brought the bike inside and was IMMEDIATELY told they would not fix it. The Manager - Matt, explained that there have been some problems working on rear wheel hub drive bikes and due to that liability, wouldn’t work on it. They told me they only knew one repair shop in Portland that would. I asked Matt if they were a “Full Service” Shop and he said they were. I made the point that they obviously weren’t - if you have a rear wheel hub motor, at which point Matt got offended … I left very disappointed, drove down Hall Blvd to Trek Bikes on Canyon Rd - I wasn’t very confident after calling them on the drive over, but thought I’d take a shot. Long story short - they looked at my bike, saw that it had a quick connect release on the power cord to the hub, threw it up on the bike stand and it was fixed in 10 minutes. It took them longer to find the right size tube then to actually repair it. “Cascade Bikes is an owner-operated full service shop in Tigard, Oregon.” … except they’re not … I will never step foot in this shop again. I will be contacting Owner/Operator Jess Palacios directly.

Bruh. Cascade fixes sick cruisers, sick bmxes, sick hybrids, sick road bikes (if you're into that sort of thing) they even fix recumbents (not very sick). Tell pizza the dog I sent ya...
Hey there! We have gravel bikes in the store but almost no skinny tire road bikes. We’ve never sold a lot of them but it feels like there is a renewed interest in road bikes. We are currently considering stocking them for the new model year. Stay tuned!
Was there Aug 16th, and they were taking walk-ins. Needed a mask, but no appointment necessary.
Sorry to report that we don’t, however, many of our customers have used Unitus Credit Union and report that it was easy breezy.
Have not seen any lowriders in there, but it really depends on what you r looking for and if it's common to a normal bike part.
Yes. They'll look at it. You won't get charged unless you have repairs you want done. They're pretty reasonable
I’m sorry to say that isn’t something I’ve heard of, much less accept. If you’re looking for repairs, you can call or come in for an estimate
Hello Joseph, we have commuter bikes starting at about $450. Expensive is a bit of a relative term. We also have bikes that cost in the thousands as well but we do our best to have something for everyone.
I saw a few models between $350-$500 on a recent trip
Hello David, Sorry to say that we don’t get into third party supplied e bike components. We are trained in our brands and we don’t want to “learn” on our customers bikes without proper training.
Yes they do.
Sorry to report, we don’t rent bikes. Good luck on the search!
Only “YT” sells YT bikes. YT, Canyon, Polygon, and other “direct to consumer” bike companies offer bikes that “seem” like a good deal, but can’t offer near the support your friendly local bike shop offers. Often those “bike companies” are just a guy at a desk ordering parts from China with his decal on them. Talk to the dudes who ride at the local shops and ask them to help you out
