Upon move out I received a bill for a couple items I wasn't able to remove. Eric in their Compliance office charged me for a kitchen shelf I did not install. The shelf is THE SAME COLOR AS THE REST OF THE KITCHEN (which they paint coat after coat so it's thick and goopy and looks terrible) Shame on this company for not trusting one of your tenants who was never late on a payment and willingly paid for the items i did neglect to remove - a flipping kitchen shelf not being one of them.

Impossible to contact, horrible communication. I left several voicemails and send multiple emails over q one week period. There was zero response. I was trying to GIVE this company $3,000 to rent an apartment, and they still couldn't bother to respond. Imagine if you actually needed them to do something, such as repair a broken toilet or leaky faucet. You'd never get a reply. I am happy they showed how unprofessional they were before I committed to a lease or wasted money. Beware.

Be cautious of mold! This is the worst property management group of any apartments I have ever rented. All units are small, old and outdated. We had black mold for two months without action being done about it. A maintenance person came, cut a hole in the ceiling to see the mold, then never returned. The heat went out, the stove stopped working -- they were never fixed. These are hazardous places to live for your own health and wellbeing. No natural light, musty smells. They have too many properties to manage to care about each building or unit. Very poorly-run business.

I have rented from Capital Property Management going on 5 years. I never had anything less then a stellar experience when dealing with them. The few maintenance requests that I’ve had over the past few years were attended to promptly and resolved to my satisfaction expeditiously. The staff is extremely courteous. The building itself is kept immaculate and we as tenants are kept up to date on any planned work to be done in or around the building. All in all I highly recommend Capital Property Management. They are a pleasure to deal with and I love my home and the building.
