Great smaller aquarium where you can feed seals. Cute little table to draw/trace over on. Couple of tanks where you can put your hands in. Huge cool octopus and many other fish!

I didn't have high expectations for this place after seeing it from the promenade. It looked kinda sad but the family wanted to go so in I sent. I was unexpectedly surprised how much I liked this little gem. It had 3 giant Pacific octopi of various sizes. They was so cool. The fish tanks were smaller in size and the fish weren't colorful like reef fish but the age and weathering in the aquarium totally made this a unique experience. The marine life appeared well cared for and the seals there were pretty cool. It was a smaller holding area for them but feeding them at $2 was a deal compared to SeaWorld. Lol. I would recommend making a quick stop to this unique privately owned aquarium in your next trip to Seaside.

Super cool. The octopus was my favorite thing to see and watch. Was kind of disappointed with the sea lions, wish they had a bigger tank. They were happy and fun tho!

Small and awesome little aquarium! My daughter has been asking to see an octopus and they have 2 fairly large ones! We also saw lots of fish, crab, snails and shark. My daughter also loved the two areas where you can reach in and touch snails, sea cucumber, starfish and sea anemone! Don't forget to feed the seals! So much fun!

Agreed, this place is an animal abuse hotspot. And I love aquariums, used to work at one and keep my own fish. This place is a travesty.
Yeah no the seals have another room where they can escape the paparazzi of the public and and octopus has plenty of space to move around freely. We would not have them if we could not properly accommodate their needs.
It is still very cruel to keep animals in these kind of places. Think about what you would do if someone gave you a house and you just spend your time there. And to all the people who say that they have place and think that this is acceptable, you are so cruel and you don't have even a little amount of empathy. Shame on you! I hope some day you'll have to get stuck in a small place so that you can understand what you have done to those animals. You are abusing them. It's disgusting. And even visiting there, is something that is disgusting and cruel.
so they can go to a bigger aquarium with sunlight and more BREATHING room cause this is torture and they will continue to breed seals.
8.50 for adults. I'm sorry I don't remember the kids pricing.
Yes we will, this is Brandon from the Aquarium so its credible
$8.50 per adult and $4.25 for kids between 6 & 13
Sealions, fish, unusual crustations. Two exibits you can touch. Its small but worth going to
More than likely, but they get plenty of sardines from the visitors too.
Yes you can. Went 2 weeks ago. They are dog friendly even feeding the seals
Pay when you arrive. Also buy your fish for feeding the seals at the same time
It's a original building so getting a wheelchair in may not work. My best advice would be to call them see. Maybe they have a another entrance place???
Admision is $8.50, children (6 -13) $ 4.25; seniors (+64) $7.25; family ( up to 6 paid admission ) $29, children 5 and under - free...hours 9am - 5pm....you can feed harbor seals when you pay admision, it was $2 for 1/2 dozen fish 4 feeding them
It was $8 per adult when I was there a couple weeks ago. I think children cost about $5.
I don't know but, I do know that if your kids are 5 years old and yunger they go in free..🎈🎉🙏
Small place but no bad smell
Yes it is wheelchair accessible the only area there are steps is if you're going to feed the seals for the gift shop which is only like three steps each
$29 up to 6 people.
If it is, it shouldn't be. I was there recently and this place is horrifically cruel to the animals, especially the seals and octopuses. All of the tanks have issues, but the condition of the octopus tanks were abusive. For reference I worked at an aquarium and keep my own saltwater tanks.
No. You have to pay to get in to the ENTIRE aquarium in order to feed the seals. But, believe me, the experience and fun is well worth the price!
If you are spending at least one night, let your front hotel/motel staff know you are planning on visiting the Seaside Aquarium. You might get coupons for free admission and free food coupons to feed the seals! 😊
$2. We bought two trays and took video. Always makes me smile. Can't wait to go back. Other side of aquarium is really cool, too.
Yeah, they do have an octopus that you can get really close to as it is in an open pool BUT you are not premittted to touch. Understand this is a pretty small aquarium, good for 1-2 hours depending on how long you like to play with the seals....the seals you can touch, if they let you....if you offer them fish.
There aren't any bike racks near there that I saw but you could probably chain them together to make it harder to steal.
As others have said, after the entry fee is paid there is a cute little gift shop and trays of fish for purchase to feed the seals
There are only 2 small sharks in the aquarium, it's $9 for adults for entry to the entire aquarium. They do have seals that you can feed, it's $2 a tray of fish.
$2 per tray not included with admission price.
