Great park. Usually go in the morning hours to take my dog running. End up seeing the same people regularly, they are all nice. A smile and "hi" go along way with the regulars. Love seeing the community in action as there's always something going on and people walking. There are bathrooms with flushing toilets. Portland Parks come regularly to maintain the park and keep the bathrooms clean.

Gorgeous views, cute little fenced dog park, covered pavilion with some of the widest plank picnic benchs possible I mean wider than a full sized bed, definitely not a spite bench. Lots of sturdy structures for children to climb on, swing from, slide down. There is free parking, stunning views, lots to do for the whole family and its nestled in this really cute neighborhood by 122nd NE Fremont. I had never been to this area but I am glad I did.

Nice big park with plenty of cool things. Easy and cheap way to bring the family somewhere in a Saturday and just hang out. Big open spaces, a skate park, and cool playground equipment. Not a ton of shade during direct summer sun.

I love walking around this park! My kid loved playing in the water/sand area. There was a bit of shade here and two benches for parents. It could use a little more shade, but the biggest problem I had with it is that two people were smoking pot right next to the playground. It is a giant park, if you have to smoke at least do it away from the little kids!!

It's fenced off leash in that area and has nice plants tress and alot of gravel it was nicely thought out 😉
Agree with the above comment of Hayden Matthews on contacting the Parks and Recreation either by phone, or in person, my choices, then, or internet now! After fees are paid along with picking your site, on the day of your function they'll put a reserved tag with the name of your party on the structure! Luuwit View Park only has one huge covered structure . . . I don't know if they divide it or what! Give them a call and ask questions to avoid surprises! Luvualwayz!
I did not see any volleyball nets setup there. There is definitely plenty of room to do it. Since Luuwit Park is run by Portland Parks and Recreation, I would go to their website to see their rules on setting up group events.
There is a hand pump that the kids can pump water out of into a sandpit and there is an area that has mist that you can stand on or sit in the area and cool down
Good to know. Thanks
Generally, events with less than 100 people don't need permits but sites are first come first serve.
It's part of Portland parks and recreation. My understanding is that it can not be reserved. It's on a first come first served basis.
I've only been there twice, but the dog park section has a concrete walking path. Watch out for dog poop!! Make sure to bring your own bags, and some water for your baby, as there isn't any available.
I'm sorry... I don't know the answer to your question.
