My family was really looking forward to our stay here. Unfortunately we were unpleasantly surprised and less than thrilled with their service for several reasons, but I’ll list the main 4: 1.My confirmation stated that the new pool area was completed June 22nd. Upon arrival it was still not complete and the lady at check in said it probably wouldn’t be done until August. There was no notification that it was still under construction from the website or my confirmation. Additionally, when you call the hotel the recording boasts of the pool accommodations never mentioning that it was incomplete. I booked this hotel specifically for the pool because I have 4 kids that don’t always enjoy the beach. It was very misleading and deceiving. 2. I requested room cleaning to be done on the 3rd day, they never arrived for the appointment time. I called and requested it 2 more times that day and no one ever showed. I requested it again for the next day and after 3 more attempts and no toilet paper, fresh towels, or trash removal, I had to go do it myself. They finally came and did a partial cleaning on Day 5 of our 6 day stay. 3. The arcade room was flooded. I observed that the hotel staff was aware of it because there was a carpet fan blowing. I tried to play air hockey with my kids but the machine took my money. I then discovered several power cords running across the wet flooded carpet. I notified hotel staff of the safety hazard and the machines that were out of order. Nothing was done until the next day. Hilton is lucky no kids were harmed in that hazard after such poor response time. 4. 3 elevators are not enough for the amount of guests staying in that hotel. We waited for 7 elevators to try to get to breakfast and every time they were packed full. We had no problem taking the stairs but discovered several older guests trying to drag multiple heavy suitcases down the stairs to check out. My family helped them carry their suitcases down, but I could tell they were very frustrated with the elevator situation as well. I would have rated my experience as a 1 if it weren’t for the complimentary breakfast and nice rooms. If you plan to stay here, call ahead to make sure the amenities are no longer under construction and be prepared for less than par service which is most likely due to them being short staffed.

The rooms are new and very nice! However we chose this hotel due to the water park that was supposed to be already built, however when we arrived it was not! We had to take a shuttle to go to an indoor pool/jacuzzi which was not what we expected. The check in process was long and they were understaffed that day. The shuttle was good because it allowed you to go to restaurants and retail stores for free. The breakfast was the other reason we chose this hotel and normally other embassy hotel breakfast was good, but this one not so much! It wasn’t terrible, but we’ve had better. Overall it was decent stay!

First and foremost it was very clean! All the areas we went into were updated and good looking. Amenities plentiful. We ate each morning at the included breakfast (including made to order omelets) and ordered a pizza at the bar which we took to the beach for lunch. Concierge available - and she was able to quickly make a reservation for us for dinner. Pool was under construction (there is one available next door) and the new pool looks AMAZING. Want to bring my grandkids back!

Staff were amazing, only deducted one star due to the extremely long line at check in. Not dissatisfied in the least. The in hotel restaurant is pricey but not overly so. The food is scrumptious to match though, so there is that. The breakfast buffet extravaganza is very good. Beach front access, safe parking lot and premises...we will definitely return.
