My family & I had a great time here. The pools are nice and there's direct beach access. It seemed very secure with card access to doors, gates, & even elevators. My kids enjoyed the smart elevators even more than tradition buttons. They also enjoyed several free activities through the rec program. Rosie and the other people running those were awesome! "The Marketplace" goes way beyond a typical gift/convenience shop with lots of groceries, beer, wine, & a Starbucks. The kitchen appliances & washer/dryer were nice modern models. Dinner at the restaurant on Pier 14 a short walk down the beach (or boardwalk) was fantastic. The photo across the water is from the pier & the restaurant is shown on the left. Please excuse the mess. It's from 4 adults & 2 kids staying in our suite for several days before I remembered to take the pictures, not the way we arrived to it. The views are from floor 26.

My room was clean, always a good start. The bed was comfortable. The staff was great and stood out above the norm. The valet manager ran to give me the phone I left in the car. The front desk staff was super friendly and easy to work with. The negative has to be the coffee maker. It was a real joke. Even the night manager said he replaced theirs with a Keurig because the antique machines in the rooms are poor coffee makers.

The hotel is clean and beautiful. Pros: Great location. The stairs allow you walk up and down them without issue when going from the lobby to the 5+ floors. The room was super clean and spacious. Cons: Vaccinated staff does not have to wear a mask. Pool water feature was turned on the majority of the stay. It sounded like someone was always peeing while I was enjoying the sound of the waves crashing on the shoreline. My balcony door was super hard to open and did not glide easily on the frame.

Our stay here was amazing. We could watch the ocean from our room the room itself was luxurious and I loved that it had a full kitchen and I was able to do our laundry before we left also that was a huge plus for me because I hate taking home dirty clothes from a trip. The location was close to everything. The pool area was really nice. The staff was wonderful. I van honestly say this was the best hotel I have ever stayed in because they thought of everything and it was just like being at home. Will definitely book again next time we come to Myrtle Beach.
