It seems that Choice Hotel Brand is battling to provide basic cleanliness and service standards. I have been staying with Choice Hotel Brands for many years, primarily for service, value, and cleanliness. Over my three most recent stays with Choice Hotels, I have endured decreasing levels of service and uncleanliness. My stay at this particular location was particularly discomforting. Common areas were not kept well. I witness the same dirt and debris on the carpet during my 4 day, 3 night stay. why not vacuum daily? In the elevator, commonly touched surfaces and even walls and floor had the appearance of neglect when it comes to cleaning and sanitization. Enough about the cleanliness. let me now speak regarding poor service. I am one who usually just requests fresh towels from housekeeping staff. So, when I asked them for just 2 hand towels, 2 bath towels, and 2 wash clothes, they refused to oblige but instead directed me to the house laundry service or front desk for these items. So, since I was headed to the front desk anyway, because it is next to house laundry services, I asked for a manager. The manager's response to my asking for why hotel guests had to go and get fresh towels on their own was that it is hotel policy and it's posted right here. (reaching for a letter-sized sign several feet away from the check in counter. Rude, Yes. Why not just state, "I am sorry for the inconvenience, but that is our current policy." On a positive note, the hot breakfast was not too bad. Had pancake maker, eggs, sausage, biscuits, sausage gravy, juices, coffee, cereal, bagels, toast, etc. The breakfast area, thankfully, was kept clean and tended to well. To conclude, I really liked Choice Hotels Brand, but basic cleanliness and service standards are leaving me with no confidence in this Brand anymore. Time for change.

Upon approach to the building very nice building we arrived at night so the lights were turned on. The lady at the desk was nice entry way was nice walking down the halls they have carpet which allows for a musty odor they should invest in pulling it it since you can't shampoo because of traffic. But upon entering our room it was nice and somewhat clean we noticed a dirty face towel lying on the floor behind the door. Sheets were nice and clean they've done some updating but it could be better the room works. If I traveled again this would not be my first choice but it's in the books for a possible.

My family and I go to Myrtle Beach from PA every year for a week in the summer. We always leave on a Friday and stay at a hotel (usually booked in advance) Friday night before we go to our weekly rental location. This year we decided to just head to Myrtle Beach and take a shot in the dark to find a local hotel with availability. The Sleep Inn near the Outlets had availability and a very reasonable rate on top of it. Upon arrival, first visual impression was clean, safe, and modern. The man at the counter was pleasant and checked us in quickly after the long drive. Parking was very open, safe, well-lit, and cameras were present. We could conveniently park and enter in the front or the back of the motel. The walk to our room and the room itself were again clean, safe, and modern. Other guests smiled and said hello in the hallways. The stay was quiet, beds were comfortable, and room temp was always easy to control where we wanted it. When we were leaving, staff was working hard to clean the lobby and kitchen areas very well. We had a really, really good experience here! We have younger kids (a 6 and 4 year old) so a clean, safe, and friendly place is what we were looking for. We will certainly go back again next year! THANK YOU Sleep Inn near the Outlets! You are doing a wonderful job keeping up with things there! Keep up the great work! See you again!

Honestly a run down hotel even through remodeling. The room was not clean. The manager was easily one of the rudest people ever! I noticed when checking in she wasn’t friendly but thought nothing of it. During our stay a family emergency popped up and she was vulgar and very rude when we asked if the room could refunded. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone! Also smelled of weed bad! Not a place to bring your children
