New client, recommended from a friend after my vet retired.. Great experience. Dr Jane was a pleasure to meet and had some good information for me and my 11 year old American bulldog. Thank you. I look forward to working with you all for years

Great staff. Very understanding and have compassion for not only your fur family, but for the humans as well. Need a vet? Definitely recommend this facility!

Dr. Maldonado and his staff are extremely accommodating, friendly, and take their work seriously. I brought a 4-month-old tortoise in who was very sick and he took the best care of her possible. He did everything in his power to make her comfortable and to care for her. They squeezed me in last minute for fluid injections and tube feedings each week, even if they were beyond busy. I will never forget the care they took of her. Unfortunately, she did pass away, but they did everything they could for her. This is one of the best vet offices I've been to in a long time, and I won't ever go anywhere else for exotic pets. Thank you so much Dr. Maldonado and all the vet techs, I don't know what I would have done without this office.

Hello Cecillia, We are not a VCA hospital. We are a privately owned practice. Thank you.
I was shocked to know rhat Animal Control in Land of Lakes will put them put on a rescue where they will roam free but be fed and protected. They will stay up for adoption first.
I would call first just to be sure and to find out best time to bring them in.
Ask for "Dr. M". The reason why he goes by 'M' is because he has a difficult last name to pronounce for some people. But, when I last saw him when he took EXCELLENT care of my Black-Tailed Prairie Dog, there was a lady there with both a Chicken (hen) as well as a Rooster. And, they REALLY care about both the patients and the patients owners/parents. I hope that your Chicken gets well soon from whatever it is that is causing you to be concerned...!!! 🐿🐾🐿🐾🐿🐾🐿🐾🐹🐹🐹 🐔🐓🐣🐤🐥🐦🐥🐤🐣🐓🐔 🤞👍👉💪👈🤞👍👌🤞👍💪
They used to have programs for adoptions. But, for some reason they no longer do it. You're best bet is either your local ASPCA or Humane Society. Although, PetCo is having an adoption thingy this weekend where the fees are ridiculously low......!!!
Yes, Dr. M is excellent with Guinea Pigs... But, unfortunately, is only somewhat knowledgeable about Prairie Dogs. But, at least he admits what he knows and what he doesn't know... I would always prefer to see someone who admits where there knowledge is lacking, and that they are willing to work on becoming more efficient and knowledgeable...!
What number do you have? They usually answer very quickly
They do board birds and dogs.
You would have to call

Yes they can euthanize pets. Not sure of pricing though... you'd have to call them and explain situation.
I paid a little over $350 for my dog who was around 20 lbs at the time. She received excellent care.
