A few weeks ago, I found a 5 week old kitten on the side of Highway 19. I was frantically reaching out to shelters and vet clinics to see if anyone could take her. Everyone in the area was overwhelmed with kittens and there was no one willing to take her, except for The Little Cats Rescue. I emailed and even though they were also over run with kittens and adult cats, RaeAnna said if I could find no one else, she would take the kitten. We ended up deciding to keep the kitten and she has a forever home with us, but I was so grateful for RaeAnna's generosity. Every other shelter or vet clinic I called, they were sympathetic and gave me lists of other places to call and try, but RaeAnna was the only one who said she would make it happen if I had no where else to go. She then spent time emailing me and answering questions I had. Even though she wasn't receiving this kitten, she was invested in making sure that kitten was going to be well set up. RaeAnna, I appreciate all of your help. It is so evident that you truly care about the cats in your care and even cats that are not. Thank you for all the hard work you do to rescue and rehome.

We heard a kitten meowing for 4 nights outside, we decided to take him in one night but my dog really doesn’t like cats. I contact the little cats rescue inc. the next morning! I sent pictures and a video and they were willing to take him! And I am so happy they did!! This handsome little one is only 5 weeks old 1lb5oz. He wouldn’t survive outside! Thank you The Little Cats Rescue for giving him a home and the care he needs! I hope someone loving and caring will adopt him, he sure stole our hearts and we want the best for him!!! Much love. A. and brave daughter D. who was able to get the kitten into safety!!

I made an appointment and went to see a big selection of nice cats. It didn't take long to find a beautiful pair and after going through an interview and vetting process and purchasing all the required supplies, accessories, and food, Rae Anna delivered my little lovies to me. I couldn't be more thrilled to have them here in their new home. RaeAnna has her hands full but really cares deeply about each and every cat and does a great job trying to find the right homes for all of them.

PLEASE NOTE: The Little Cats' Rescue, Inc. is in New Port Richey, FL. We are NOT "Little Cat Rescue" in Zephyrhills, who started around 2019. We have NO association with them. We DO NOT show our cats at any pet stores. The Little Cats' Rescue has been a non-profit 501(c)3 Florida corporation since 2002. We are an all-volunteer, Sanctuary-based rescue, where our motto is Rescue, Rehabilitate, Rehome. We have saved thousands of lives through TNVR and through rescue into our Sanctuary. We're very careful when placing our cats into their forever homes. Every volunteer goes the extra mile for the cats, for their adopters, and for those who need help with their cats. As age, health and temperament permit, our rescued cats live uncaged in a clean, happy and healthy environment, where they will stay until adopted into an appropriate home. Some of our cats are "lifers," in that they are unadoptable for a variety of reasons (health, age, behavior). We have a rescued, cat-loving, 70 lb. doggie named "TyTy," who is our "resident cat trainer." TyTy helps acclimate the kitties to a dog, so they can have a better chance at adopting into a home with dogs. Visits to the Sanctuary are by appointment after receipt of a completed adoption application.

I'm so sorry, but we are completely full.
unfortunately no. we are at capacity
Thank you for caring! Sadly, we are unable to help with them, as we are at our legal limit of 50 cats
Where do you live? Is he neutered?
I'm sorry but we have no room. We are at legal capacity of 50.
I'm sorry but we are no longer able to do TNR. Perhaps The Runaways Animal Rescue can direct you. They are in FB
I'd suggest using a professional rescue.
3/20/2022 how old is the cat and is it still available?
Please reach out to them on Facebook. Also you can post to many rehoming sites on there. There are many rescues that might be able to help
