If you choose to use this provider request meds to be called into a local pharmacy or you will be way overcharged for medication. They will not tell you about this option unless you ask.

We had an OK experience with my senior cat who needed some teeth removed. About a month later, I took my dachshund in to discuss having the same procedure done for her, since she had dental problems as well. They acted very nonchalant about her dental state and said it was up to me if I wanted to go ahead and do the extractions. I said yes I do and was given a list of pre op treatments my dog must have before surgery. These included flea medicine (she does not have fleas), flu vaccine, all sorts of stuff. I expressed that I didn’t want to overwhelm her body with all this unnecessary stuff right before being put under. They left the room to discuss if we could forego these treatments, and I overheard the vet say “I think she should be ok” in response to the tech relaying my concerns about doing all this before surgery. I need better than it should be ok for my fur baby, so I said I would think about it and started calling around other vets to see if they would do the extractions without requiring a ton of extras. Well the best thing happened, I found Ehrlich Animal Hospital, which was a further drive but absolutely worth it. We had a phenomenal experience, and I recommend them so highly! They said they would not require any of these conditions and that her tooth infection was so bad they needed to do surgery asap and ensure she was on antibiotics the days leading up to prevent a potentially deadly situation. I agreed and thought well they’ll probably be more expensive just because of the quality of the office and how fancy it all was, but I didn’t care because of how amazing the team of doctors I met with were. But…turns out they were HALF the price of VCA. I was quoted upwards of $2,100 at VCA and only $1,100 at Ehrlich!!!! Also, at VCA they didn’t explain anything at all. They just spent thirty seconds looking at her and said I could do extractions if I wanted to. At Ehrlich’s they explained everything, their anesthesia process, pre surgical process, heart monitoring process. Dr. Turner was the most professional and knowledgeable vet I have ever encountered. Absolute night and day difference from VCA. Ehrlich’s also has extended hours and always seems to have availability. I just brought my kitten there this week and had a different doctor but still a phenomenal experience. They gushed over my kitten and took pictures with him. I could tell they cared so much unlike VCA.

I recently lost my 17 yr old fur baby. The entire staff was so sympathetic, kind & compassionate & helped my little fur baby peacefully cross over. Thank you all for being so understanding during this heartbreaking time.

The vet was not very social and he didn't really go over what was going on with my cat.i was very upset. And then he tells me I have to bring her back for blood work witch is expensive and they will charge me a exam fee also. I had to beg him to put her on medication for anxiety/aggressive issue. He just really didn't want to listen to what I was saying.

When the pet no longer has a quality of life. Inability to potty on its own. When they labor to walk or breath. Closer your eyes a pray on it. Praying with you
They are extremely compassionate like she said. I had to do the same bring my dog in to be euthanized and she's right on it with the cost. When we brought my dog in of course it was heart-wrenching for myself and my son and they let us take as much time in the room with her before and after that we needed. I will never take my animals anywhere else
I don't think so. I never saw a bird in there.
Vca little animal hospital has a membership where you could get your dog a membership for their vet office and everything is a lot cheaper
