The Red Roof Inn off I-10 is conveniently located with easy access to the interstate. It's minutes from downtown. The room we were in was nothing fancy but clean. They are renovating and I like the fact that there is no carpeting in the room we were in. It is pet friendly. The best part is the staff. They will do whatever they can to accommodate requests with a smile.

Positive: The front desk employee was helpful when I checked out. That is the only nice thing I can say about this place. Negative: This place is a dump. As soon you got of the elevator the whole floor smelled like weed. The floor was dirty with broken glass and screws. As soon as we saw the mysterious stains on the bedding we left. I will be getting a refund.

This place is very run-down. Staff was helpful, the room was adaquate. No refer in the room. No hairdryer. That's fine but pricing should reflect. $50 range would have been acceptable. Soposedly they are doing renovations... still not worth the $80+

They charges me 250 for damages to the room. They can't prove it was my room and furthermore that's an outright lie. Not to mention we tipped the housekeeper very well because yes we had a lot of trash but damage? Absolutely not. The front desk lady was anything but a lady and was rude and made an antisemitic comment under her breathe. They also put us in a room right next to the when I'm guessing to be the utility closet. There was so much for traffic and banging of supplies and housekeeping carts that I could not rest all day and into the evening. That's the one that has to be awake at night for work and made it very very difficult two functions. Lastly there was a lady staying on our floor and was told that it was an animal free floor because she is deathly allergic to canines. Needless to say I had my dog with me and we were five doors down from her. This goes to show that the staff here does not care about customer service. They do not think twice about lying to customers even when it might pose a serious health risk. And given this day and age we can't afford careless health risks. I will never stay here again and I strongly encourage anyone to just go to one of the 2 hotels literally next door. I have stayed at both and they are exceptionally better.
