Very welcoming and friendly staff . From front desk to the cleaning staff in the morning . Pool area was crowded at night but day time swim was good , could have been a little cleaner for my taste . * No outside guest allowed you will have to wear a bracelet .Room was decent and comfortable.

ROOM: First red flag was when we checked in we had to sign a form saying we "would not" be having parties....is that an issue?...yes, the confirmed. Then lots of dog. Surprised by the dog barking through the night. Didn't realize this was a pet friendly hotel. I'm pretty allergic and I sure woke up with a bloody nose, stuffiness, and dryness. The room itself was great though and the layout with the king bed worked out great as it had a little living areas separated by the hallway with the bathroom. All great there. We could hear someone pounding the floor upstairs as they walked around. Must be thin walls? The AC or water...not sure...something in the wall mad weird noises clicking noises in the middle of the night. Room doesn't have much for noise reduction. Gym: Gym was good actually. Great weight rack and bench area and the treadmill and elliptical are all good. Swimming: The swimming pool/lazy river was awesome. There's tubes you can use. Great place. FOOD: Super hit and miss with the food. The pizza was...odd...we weren't sure what the flavor we were tasting was. Like wet soggy salty cheese or something. The pepperoni was literally flavorless. The burger was great!

I could not sleep. The A/C is loud and turns itself on/off automatically, there's no way to have the fan constantly going on the A/C unit. The times the A/C turned itself off, the room got super warm immediately. I come to Tucson every 3 months and this was my first time staying here, the last time I stayed at the Desert Diamond and it was so much better, I got an executive room for the same price I paid at this Hilton. There's loud guests and I don't think the rooms are sound proofed properly. I could hear steps on the hallway, loud TVs and people talking. The breakfast bar is overpriced, basically you pay $10-$11 for a bagel, fruits, juice and yogurt. Other hotels have better breakfast, for free...that breakfast they provide, there's no egg products, pancakes or protein. The gym is okay, the bar/restaurant is okay. I wish they had a large selection of foods and drinks. I actually got sick with a margarita on my last night there, I drank it and the moment I went to my room I because nauseated and threw up the margarita. 30 mins later I had some fries and some chicken and felt okay...meaning the margarita made me sick. The hotel has a long way to go, if you're a guest considering this hotel....stay away. Maybe check the Desert Diamond, which was my first choice. I regret not staying with them instead of this Hilton, they don't do justice to the Hilton brand. I could barely stay alert throughout the day at work, as my brain was on zombie mode due to lack of sleep...the A/C and the noise on the halls was unbearable. Stay away!!!

Second time staying here. Not a perfect stay. We were told we were being upgraded from a king bed to a queen, not sure how that’s an upgrade perhaps it’s because it was a suite but we’d prefer the bigger bed. Requests more pillows and they came quickly. The only downfall was the ridiculously loud heater unit. It sounds like it needs maintenance. I know this is near the airport but it literally sounded like an air plane was right there. You really can’t hear the plains from there. Woke me every time it kicked on. I finally just shut it off. We had to reschedule this trip from a previous weekend which was non cancelable. Due to our emergency situation the hotel was able to work with is and getting it rescheduled. I would definitely consider staying here again. Front desk staff was friendly and pleasant.
