I asked them the 28th of April when they were going to turn on the AC because my apartment was getting really hot to the point my baby couldn’t sleep safely, they assured me it would be turned on by the end of the month. It’s now May 11 and my apartment is 85°+ all day. Update- it’s still 85° in my apartment, there is never any parking and they keeping do asphalt repairs without proper notice so everyone keeps getting booted and towed.

This is the worst apartment complex management I have ever seen, prior to this I thought it was bad. But now I miss the new managers, I’ve had several neighbors get their cars wrongfully towed and booted. The construction workers park in reserved parking, and the office workers are the most ignorant people I have ever dealt with personally. I wish I could sue the owners on behalf of my peers. This place is a joke. Don’t live here ever, they don’t know how to use common sense, nor do they have any respect for any of the tenants. DO NOT MOVE HERE!

My sister rented here. The new management raised her rent from $1150 to $1900. For a ONE BEDROOM apartment in Abq, NM. She couldn’t afford to stay and was forced to move out. She and I thoroughly cleaned and left the apartment SPOTLESS. Yet her cleaning deposit was not fully refunded for no explained reason. Management is unresponsive. Also, during her stay, the washer and dryer consistently broke and no one ever came to fix them, despite kind and respectful requests and service orders. Bottom line: Aydan apartments (formerly Sombra Del Oso) is the epitome of corporate greed, screwing New Mexico natives. I do not write bad reviews. This is merely a warning to save yourself the trouble. Or, if you MUST move in for some reason, do yourself a favor and withhold your last month’s rent. Don’t be honest and trusting like my sister was.

Be careful with applying to these apartments. The only photos they have are of a 2bd 2ba. When I had asked to see photos of the apartment since I can't go see it since I'm "pre-leasing" it as they called it that I would only get to see it when I moved in. They sent these photos of what my place would look like. These are classic 1bd 1ba. They have new wood vinyl flooring but not updated appliances or kitchen. Should've asked for the photos before applying but think these photos should be on their website if they were able to send them to me. The reason why they aren't uploaded is because they said they haven't had the chance to and are now renovating them..
