Crossing from US to Canada Traffic is poorly managed (all engines are on until cars reach the gate, there should be designated places to stop and go) and wait times are excessive, probably due to covid document check. All lanes but one appear to be staffed, they are just overwhelmed. I've waited almost an hour and this line is comparatively slow, so it could be another 30 minutes or so. Check web site before coming. I definitely would not have come had I known it would be like this here.

Lines too long. Wished they had more staff and there could be much less collective time wasted. Long lines also create unnecessary air pollution because of idling vehicles waiting

I'd like to give the utmost thanks to officer Ally (or Ashley judging from the other review, I didn't quite pick it up on the phone sorry!) for helping me with my admission issue. He went above and beyond to fix it, recommending offices to contact and how to present the issue, and finally escalating to get it resolved. If not for him, it would have been extremely inconvenient to fix my urgent work issue. He set the bar for the amount of care he showed in helping my personal case. You rock!

First I love Canada the many years I have driven there always a welcoming feeling but not this time, Not knowing Nexus lane I pulled up ,the male patrol offer rude, trying to make me feel stupid and ask me why I wasn't shopping in my own country. I feel he wanted to teach me a lesson so he sent me to have my car inspected. I really think Canada should allow you to standby while they are searching your car(in a distance) but you should be able to watch. The lady that searched my car was ok but she must have had a bad day. she made a mess of my car . not a good experience kinda makes me feel uncomfortable about going back.

No, currently U.S doesn't require covid test from anyone to enter into U.S. I traveled from Canada to U.S yesterday.
Not!
PCR test after 72 hours for fully vaccinated Canadian citizens and permanent residents to get into Canada. To get into US, they have to be fully vaccinated Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
Not at the land border crossings. Always could change.
U.S. and Canadian citizen infants are not required to have a passport for travel by land or sea - although they are required to present a copy of a birth certificate and, if not traveling with both parents, the Department of State suggest a consent letter accompany the other parent(s)
Unvaccinated or partially vaccinated children 5 through 11 years old. Unvaccinated and partially vaccinated children under the age of 12 aren't required to provide a valid pre-entry test result, if they're accompanying a fully vaccinated adult. They're exempt from quarantine, without any limitations on their activities
The answer is sorta. It is easiest to have the vaccine. To enter the U.S the U.S. won't ask, most likely, unless you are displaying obvious symptoms. To enter or return to Canada you need to up load vaccine information and/or a negative PRC test into the Canadian Government app ArriveCAN. If you don't have the required documents as a foreigner (non-Canadian citizen, non-Canadian Permanent Resident or non-Canadian Native Anerican) they will refuse your admission. If you are Canadian, Canadian Permanent Resident or a Canadian Native American with out documents you maybe fined or have to sequester in a hotel of the Canadian Gov's choice. Canada may let you return to the U.S. to wait for results, but the U.S. may not let you enter. You will then most likely have to pay the fine in Canada. It is easiest to get the required vaccine. You will need the ArriveCAN app, which does track your intended arrival and your travel. All of this is subject to change by either or both Governments.
That is a question you need to ask the Canadian Border Services not US Customs. Check their ArriveCan website for up to date restrictions and limitations on border crossing.
Hi I am crossing Blain border into Canada from US side, I am fully Vaccinated, do I need any other test before crossing the border?
Yes. With your papers you can go to the inside window
As a US citizen you do not need to provide a negative COVID test
The Canadian side is known as Douglas.
Yes, you can cross for work. No covid test results needed currently. Don't bring family unless they have status.
No as of Tuesday this past week Homeland Security has no requirements for covid tests or vaccinations at *land* *border* , ie driving across. Only Americans can cross by land. Same questions as before covid times. They are also good about picking up the phone, so give them a call.
No, there are no restrictions, but is recommended to take with you a negative PCR test
No you can't unless US citizen or US permanent resident or working status in US.
