Like most of the Indigo portfolio, they try too hard to be unusual, but end up with less than comfortable spaces. It's one of those nickel and dime you hotels as well. Probably better off with a holiday Inn or holiday Inn express instead. Refrigerator in my room didn't fit in it's space blocking the walkway and wasn't cold. Details matter at this price point and Indigo seldom gets this right. Staff was very friendly and helpful though at this location though.

Don't forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any place. They compare hundreds of booking websites and usually will have rooms much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of the most well known in the area. I've been coming here for a very long time. If you stay for a few days you for sure won't be disappointed. My partner and I booked a night in this hotel last minute just as an escape from our hectic lives. The rate was good and the room was very nice. As someone who spent many years in hospitality I was impressed with the cleanliness and the staff. The bed was super comfy and the shower was huuuuuge. I would definitely stay here again.

Edward made my mom feel like a queen. He greeted us with a smile everytime we came through the lobby. He watched over my elderly mom when none of us were around. The staff otherwise was fine. a few stood out more than others. Those being the bar and kitchen staff. Otherwise the least exciting part of the trip was the cleaning staff. They were not nice, friendly or helpful and did a half done job each time they supposedly cleaned the room. Our stay was two weeks.

Our daughter moved to East Liberty and we wanted to visit and this was the closest, pet-friendly hotel. We chose it over an airbnb becasue many of those were upper floors with no elevators. We're glad we did. The staff was very welcoming of us and our puppies. I'd read some reviews saying the hotel wasn't clean. We disagree. The public areas and our room were spotless. Valet service was quick and friendly. Starbucks coffee in the lobby was good (not free btw). Plenty of great places to eat within a 5 minute walk. The surrounding areas felt safe to walk in. We'll definitely go back next time we visit the area. The only negative we experienced was we arrived late and wanted to eat at the restaurant. It was sold-out for an event which was really crowded and loud so we had to go elsewhere.

A 15 minute drive to Heinz. Realistically, with normal traffic and construction, it's likely to be 20-30 minutes.
