Our stay was nice, rooms were very clean and the housekeeping staff and the employees in the breakfast area were amazing! The desk staff was wonderful with the exception of one young lady, when our room fridge wasn't working she claimed to "call somebody" but after waiting over an hour, I went to the desk and suggested we possibly be moved to a room with a working fridge (we were there three days). Also, one of the security doors wasn't locking. When I was checking out, I mentioned it to the GM and it was as if he was hearing it for the first time. Clearly, the clerk I reported it to never passed that along or my fridge issue. Someone needs some retraining and help with problem solving. I'm glad I didn't let her overshadow the other wonderful people working there.

If I could give it 0, or even negative, stars I would. First set of key cards were virtually inoperable. Then, on our second of two nights, the toilet was not flushing properly. We called the front desk, and they tried to get someone to look at it, but to no avail; also did not have a simple plunger available. (What motel/hotel with this many rooms doesn’t have a simple plumbing tool like a plunger available???). 10:30 at night, nothing is open to even try and buy a plunger. Fortunately, our older son, whom we were visiting, lives 20 minutes away and I was able to borrow one from him. Toilet was still iffy, but usable for non-solid use. Parking space lines haven’t been repainted in years, if not decades, so people park as they want, making it difficult to find parking spaces, especially when the motel is near or at capacity as it was when we stayed here. The lines for spaces are difficult to see during the day, almost impossible to see at night. The general appearance of this place, especially on the outside, needs months, if not years, of work. Room had no amenities list, not even a channel list for the TV; no extra roll of toilet paper in the bathroom (fortunately, wasn’t needed); no tissues in the tissue holder. The list goes on. The best thing the parent company can do is raze this place and start over. Never will we stay here again.

Staying here has been pleasant, not great. The business or bar in the hotel was VERY slow, the ladies working there were VERY overwhelmed by the large gathering of American Legion people. The bar was not able to seat a lot of us. Finally after an hour we got menus because more help showed up to the ladies. The hotel was just okay with the rooms looking just okay, beds were shaky. Bathroom was fairly small, and showing signs of wear. The bedding was soft and warm, but I found a dried stain on the white comforter. Alarm clock was unplugged. I hope that this is seen by someone from the hotel and the bar. I wish this is helpful to them.

While not the ideal location I desired the staff was friendly and helpful. The overall hotel accommodations were acceptable except for hallway carpeting, the side entrance access door was not locked after dark and the bathtub was extremely slippery. While the rooms were updated in the last several years the overall hotel design is dated. The hotel should be replaced with a modern single access entrance way and short hallways. Location is a bit difficult to access as well.
