I was impressed when I entered my suite, but shocked to find out that not all that glitters is gold. The bath tub is clogged, and hours after you shower in standing tub water, after you try to open the drain in your dirty bath water, you wake up to the dirty water still there. The air conditioning vents say, "Change filter," but no one changed them. Shocked to know there was no heating, and I slept in 59 degree cold in May, because, "Oh, we turned off our broilers." It is not handicapped accessible because after you drag your suitcase up the ramp, inside the door are more steps to climb. The parking is a small gravel space, and on and on. Carpet is stained with old spills everywhere. They probably make money during game season, but I will not allow any institution to lodge me here again.

This is an awesome hidden gem in Pittsburgh. The neighborhood is not the greatest, I would not recommend walking outside. But as soon as you enter the doors, its a beautiful, quaint, very clean and welcoming hotel. The rooms were spacious, clean and nice. We loved the front sitting room with the fire and the small bar. The hotel staff were courteous and professional. The morning pick up breakfast was tasty. Worth the stop!

If you're familiar with European hotels you will love this hotel. It's charming, funky, historical and fun. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and as a New Yorker, I give it an A for hipness. What I wasn't so happy about was the fact that it's in a really bad neighborhood, and it's right next to a noisy freeway. A little overpriced for that reason, but otherwise a really nice place.

This place is a gem! Everything about it was above and beyond my expectations. An unexpected amenity was the fact that there was a shuttle that delivered us to the PPG Arena for our concert and picked us up when it was over! From the time we entered the door until check-out every staff member was kind and gracious to us. Plenty of parking, delicious breakfast, great location, and reasonably priced. The building is historic and lovely! Love, love, love the Priory!
