Flavor was spot on and cooked well. Good mix of traditional and unique items.Would have preferred the fish in the watermelon ceviche to be cut smaller but flavor was still amazing. Gluten free options available. Server rushed with our table and left our table before we finished ordering (ordered entrees but he left before we could order sides!) but we were able to get his attention 5/10mins later and finish ordering. Has a casual ambiance. Husband made a reservation and mentioned it was our 11yr anniversary but nothing was celebrated (which is fine, but just wondering why there would be a spot to mention it). Will return because we enjoyed the food so much :)

The service was really friendly. The outdoor and indoor space is nice. The food options are wonderful. I recommend the clam chowder. It tasted fresh and tons of flavor. The oysters could have been better but the watermelon vinaigrette was an excellent pairing. The rest of the meal was just ok. I would say check it out for yourself.

It's so good to get a happy hour deal. The oysters were super creamy and fresh. Paired with the watermelon mignonette, it toned down the sharpness of a regular red wine vinegar mignonette. The clam chowder was so hearty. Fresh clams in there, not frozen pieces. The coconut passionfruit tart hit all the right notes. Smooth custard texture, good sturdy crust. Super worth the trek here.

This is not the best I have eaten the seafood in Portland so far. The oysters kind of less tasty than the usual sweetness that I enjoyed. The claimed Brussels sprouts are overrated as it was rather too sweet to be good. The clam chowder was great and the steam clam is yummy! I don’t like the way the grilled octopus has been prepared as I prefer the whole tentacles to be served instead. The fish and chip just average but the grilled cod fish with bacon wrap rather disappointing as the fish is not so fresh and over cooked. The wine selection are good and decent in price.

Their menu is available on-line, on their website 😋
No, but we needed to wear a mask until we were at our table
I traveled by lyft. I am not from Portland so I am not familiar with MAX.
Sure the second cooking is the seasoning or sauce or breaded salt and spices
On the south park blocks at the northern end
They offer happy hour from 3-6 and 10-midnight.
Its a great restaurant. Pretty sure that kids would enjoy it as welll
There is public onstreet parking (bikes too), paid parking above the restaurant, and great transit service on cross streets.
When things go well there, they go spectacularly well. The food is usually top-notch, unbeatable flavors, incredibly fresh, and perfectly cooked. Be sure to try their clam chowder. They use potato gnocchi in there, instead of just potato chunks, and they also have clams that are still in the shell. It's more of a stew than a soup. Every now and then, their quality is completely off, though. Service is top-notch, and the management really truly cares about everybody's experience, and makes good on the occasions where things aren't up to par. Be sure to check out their Chocolate Board dessert, it is amazing that they would have chocolatiers that talented and good at a seafood restaurant.
