Wonderful nature trail with many plant species. If you look carefully, you may see interesting insects and tiny spiders.

Peaceful and big enough that it wasn't crowded. People stated showing up just before sunset.

Nature preserve with incredible viewing of wildlife and birds. Walking trails along the river provide serenity and quietude.

How can we preserve our trees and bring back nature wildlife to its original habitat? Not just Oregon, but California, Washington and others states that have suffered in these terrible wild fires. How can we keep alive and safe, not just now, for our future generations? Should we destroy our trees this year in celebrating Christmas? Can we save millions of trees, these young "saplings" from being destroyed this year.?? Can these trees be saved? Not just trees we want to preserve and save, its wild creatures in our backyards, at our parks, big forest, and mother nature outdoor. We should try to express our feeling to others and open our ears and listen to those that suffered from these fires. Put your words out there and express yourself, feel free. Let's save our land.

There are plenty of food sources already at the refuge. There is no need to add more that could introduce a virus or bacteria that is not there. It is already an off balance habitat.
