Great quite location alongside the Columbia River. You will honestly not hear a thing but the river and the local birds in the area. Make sure to bring your OWN drinking water or you can purchase from the market on site. They have posted an arsenic warning for their water supply on the island. Also bring mosquito repellent. They're vicious lol

Wonderful campground to stay at. The ships sailing by are wonderful to sit and watch, and the trees are stunning. I would definitely love to stay here again, and would happily recommend it to anyone. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because the firewood here is expensive. You’d be better off bringing your own wood as theirs is wet. Edit: I included a picture of one of the logs we bought for reference. Edit 2: The campground staff apologized for the wet wood within MINUTES of me posting this review, and offered dry wood. The staff informed us that the wet wood was an accident that we just happened to be the victims of. I have changed my review from 4 stars to 5 stars because of the excellent customer care and kindness they displayed towards us.

This place is AWESOME! The grounds are amazing! The location is perfect! It is quiet at night and even during the day! The owners are very great to talk to and very informative! I would highly reccomend this place! It is a breath of fresh air here! Great to walk along their beach, see their animals and feed their chickens and geese! A true reflection on how Oregonians are! Beautiful place!

Got to love a iconic store and campground. I was on the street fixing the only road to the rest of the island. Bob Reeder is a super nice guy. Stop and check out the place next time your on Sauvie Island.

To camp for sure but probably not for extended stay. I think they require rv's be less than 10 years old to stay long term.

Is this month to month?

It's been decades since my children an i visited Reeder Beach; i was rudely reminded that it was a private space, while sitting under a shade tree eating lunch. Two people in a golf cart approached me. Why do people be so rude?
