Beautiful park with these small little trails that lead to beach or this big grassy area. There's shade if it's sunny and warm, beach if one wants to sun bathe.

Highly recommend this place just know that this time of year there are SO many mosquitoes that will eat you alive so put bug spray on before you go down the trails to the different beach spots and when you leave after leaving the beach. The water was cold but I imagine warms up as summer has just started. No mosquitoes when we were on the beach. Hammocks are easy to hang up!!! And camping chairs are nice! Do it you won't regret it. Seems like camping here would be gorgeous- if the mosquitoes weren't so bad...

good to visit on blue sunny day! very quiet and calm place in January good weather day to walk on river sand. walk the dog, walk kids or just walk yourself. 😀😇. very close to downtown and easy access to major highways.

Nice park with bikeable trails, beach access, picnic tables, and public restrooms. Sandy beaches and great views of the river and ships.

Yes
As far as I know your not allowed to but people do it anyways
Yes there are several freestanding charcoal BBQ pedestals throughout the park.
Yes. Check Oregon fish and game for details. You just can't swim due to current.

The park is open and I was there on 29 August.
Yes its back open. The river is high, not much beach. The mosquitoes are swarming mad so you'll need spray.
You can it signing the grass area. The beach area is open though
No. Camping is not allowed in any Portland parks.
There isnt any, you have to walk down there yourself. But I assume there are boat ramps around somewhere where near if you dont want to make the walk.
Yes. Last time I was there it looked clean. But there are a bunch of people walking dogs. So you might want to be a bit careful.
Too far away from town for this to be a major homeless spot. Specially when they can camp in the city without being harrassed. Although I did see at least one shopping cart on the beach and a few spots that have clearly been camped before
From 6am to 10pm it is open to the public. With areas you can rent. From 8:30pm to 6am I would suggest you adhere to the CDC Level 6 contamination protocol.
