This was a great park to play in while hot. It was a unique feature my 6 yo enjoyed. It's also fun to people watch as people gather for a show across the street. It also makes for beautiful photos. The place was clean and offered shade for parents. I was surprised that there wasn't any food options too close by.

Kid friendly especially in the summer time. Parking close by and dog friendly. Perfect for a kids play date.

Its a beautiful hidden spot in middle of Portland downtown... Good photo spot... Love the clean artificial waterfalls.. Lot of chlorine smell in the water because of water treatment... You might find homeless people doing random stuff there...

This park is really amazing and fun. For all ages. You can have a picnic, play in the water, and ever else you want. The water is great temperature. Nice grass to sit in. Also for those pokemongo players amazing spot for gyms and all. Please follow me, like and comment on stuff. This way I can earn my bases and know people like what I show them or at least enjoy. Thank you have a great time.

Yes on the bottom right corner there is a spot where you can sit behind the waterfall
Yes, it is open. No water running on fountains. BEAUTIFUL as ever. One of my favorite places!!
I think on the 10th. I would take kids to Spring Garden Park for water works
Yes but its closed for the rest of the season, you can go but there is no water

Sometimes, usually just play around in water it's shallow. I warn you though, don't walk in it, don't drink it don't dunk your head. People urinate in it often, syringes and such from junkies. It's neat to look at but that's about it. People do play in it but I don't think they realize in summer there's a reason you can smell the chlorine or disinfectant 5 blocks away.
