Nice sized plot of land for your dog to romp around off-leash and stretch their legs. The people (and their pups) that I have encountered here have always been very friendly, and if the play gets a little too rough between the dogs the owners have been quick to break it up. Love this park & highly recommend for social dogs—especially high energy ones.

Durham Park has great walking paths an multiple bridges. The off leash area is not fenced, but provides ample space for dogs to roam and play with other dogs.

Off-leash area best describes this play. It is basically a grass triangle between three walkways. Your dog is allowed to be inside the asphalt walkways but outside the asphalt walkways is all the cool stuff like trails and bushes etc etc. So if your dog likes to walk along by you or maybe chase a ball 20 yards this is a very very good place. But if you have a world-class Sprinter, one who enjoys chasing and running down Greyhounds until they get tired, one who you let Run free in the wild and will be gone for maybe an hour or two before she comes back, you might want to reconsider because it will definitely go outside the asphalt triangle!! I'm still trying to explain to my dog what asphalt is? And as you can see by the pictures, even Winnie the Pooh decided to climb up a tree when he accidentally crossed the path? Either that or somebody was just really really mean!

Great trails for walking. Even though the dogs are off-leash, all of them I have seen or passed by have been very well behaved and have left me alone. There is no need to be frightened about the dogs here as a pedestrian. If you're a dog owner then this is a good place to meet other dog owners and practice a game of fetch or frisbee. Lots of nature and fresh air, the park and trails are right next to the Tualatin river so there are lots of birds chirping and flowers blooming.
