It was funny I was looking for a park by the river and Google maps took me there. I never got very close to the river though. The park was beautiful. It had amazing trees and well kept gardens. I walked into a building where they were having a yoga class. A sign at the entrance read the swimming pool heater was not working. The restrooms I visited were clean and well stocked but apparently no one checked on them during the day. I walked, I meditated, I appreciated all Mother Nature was presenting to me. Obviously there were quite a few undesirables, misguided souls who wanted to sell their poison. I ignored them. More towards the end of my visit, one or more undesirables stank up the air with that fetid, putrid smell, ewww! I appreciate Fabreeze too and always carry with me. Besides, I was leaving. The park was great. Hell are the others.

Beautiful park. Convenient and peaceful. Also has large playground, tennis and baseball courts. Dog park is close by.

It's okay. You can let your dogs run around and walk along the water. The view just isn't that great and the dog park looks run down. For the area you'd think it would be well maintained but it's not and never has been. It's just another reminder that our whole city is run down.

This is such a serene park in a nice part of the city! Plenty of trees for shaded gatherings in the summer and lots of fields for different activities. There's a trail that leads to Oaks Bottom Refuge nearby too! It was 90 degrees today but felt so amazing under the tree shade and the wind helped cool us down, too!
