Funnest place to stay cool on hot summer days . I love to play on the giant water slide, I really do. Lost 40 pounds playing like a kid at mt.scott pool trs ago. I think it's time to see if I can again.

I always enjoy my time at Mt. Scott park. From Friday night free swim with my 8 year old daughter or to take a nice relaxing shower anytime. They have made access very reasonable for low income folks like myself. I can always count on the front desk staff to treat me like everyone else who visits this facility, with dignity and respect. They offer many ways to enjoy this place at a very affordable rate. We love going to Mt Scott park.

So far, I have only utilized the pool facilities for morning aqua aerobics. The pool is large enough for the 40 +/- people. The locker rooms are small but clean as are the showers. The front desk staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about the programing. And the fees are very reasonable able

This park is so beautiful. The massive trees that litter the place provide tons of shade and a pretty mesmerizing view when you look up. There's a cute little play area where there's almost always kids playing so your little ones won't be bored either. There's barbecuing and what seems to be a little clubhouse although I haven't actually been inside. Very cool place though!

We are doing a birthday party and we called to reserved a picnic area. So you better call to make sure.
At own risk
I don't think there is any prohibition on RC's but always check with the Bureau of Parks and Recreation's website.
Walk a dog or go through it, maybe, if they're awake and need some movement to be ready for bed, or just walking home from work. Not everyone works 9-5... 😉 (and the park paths make for nice shortcuts from one side to the other). That said, groups of people there at that time are most likely not up to much more than drinking and getting high.
