Good simple hostel. You have everything you need. The kitchen has no cooking options but a microwave. The reception is often without staff :D one bathroom for eight persons..

First of all, there were hairs on my bed, the bathroom is too dirty...at the night I was sleeping alone and someone opened the door and turn on the light at 12pm, who left some things and took some stuff into the closeth, and I realized he was a homeless then left the room, after an hour he came back and doing somethings in the closeth, I was so nervous, and he prepared a bed next to my bed and sleep, in this moment I decided to take my stuff to go out the room, I didn´t know what to do, because It was at 2am after that I waited on the first floor for 5 hours, no one in there... I saw a mouse and cockroach in the kitchen and when I came out that place, I saw two homeless pleople sleeping outside.

I never write reviews, but I feel compelled to write this to warn other people not to stay here. My stay was one of the worst experiences of my life. I can concede a lot given this place had an average review to begin with, but during my time here, I saw more rats than I did people, my food was taken and to cap it off, on the third night of my stay, they booked somebody else into my bed so that when I came back I had nowhere to sleep. I tried calling reception multiple times to resolve this, but they never answered and so I spent the night trying to sleep in the lobby. When I asked them to refund the rest of my stay the next day, they accused me of lying and yelled at me. They still have not refunded the money. Honestly after my experience there I would rather sleep on the street than in that hostel and if it was possible I would give them a negative rating.

Similar to a homeless shelter. The service is terrible and the rooms are just as bad. I reserved my room hours in advance and checked in and made my bed. When I came back to my bed that night some guy was sleeping in it. So I said screw it and had to drive 3 hours to my house. You’re better off pitching a tent in the middle of DC than staying here.
