I have lived at Celio for a year now and I like it a lot it’s very close to everything you could want bars, grocery stores, and pretty much the rest of Portland. I had one experience were my stove was not working and the turn around on the work order was very quick now I enjoy my new stove. Management is very helpful and informative. I give it a 4 star rating but do I see myself moving probably not for awhile, I really enjoy the atmosphere and it’s pretty affordable.

I lived here about 2 years, location is great and safe, apartment building is quite and it’s good for the price, they have assigned parking which is important for some people, staff are nice and I didn’t have any problems with them, the reason for 4 stars because the construction inside the building (mid of 2019 until I moved out august 2020).maintenance guy is friendly and he fix my problem very quickly. Celio was my first apartment in Portland so I will always remember living there.

I lived in a studio at Celio as my first apartment, and while I do think it was a decent beginning apartment experience, it was definitely a mixed bag. My kitchen was TINY. There was one countertop, a mini fridge that had basically just a small drawer as a freezer, and 3 cabinets. Barely enough room for cooking or even drying the dishes. And I had to use one of my bookshelves for kitchen storage, lol. Other than the kitchenette, though, there was a good amount of storage space, including a closet room that led to the bathroom, which was definitely nice to have. Another thing about the apartments is that heating is controlled by the building, and there's no air conditioner. I lived on the 10th floor, and my GOD my room got hot. I was in a tank top and shorts in the middle of winter, waking up sweating most nights. And there's no screens on the windows, so when I got my cat, I couldn't open the windows all the way for fear of her jumping out. Definitely look into getting at least some fans, if not a whole air conditioner unit, if you're moving into the upper floors. Recently, there's also been a package problem, with a lot of couriers not using Parcel Pending and sometimes leaving packages by the front door rather than in the (not closed off) mail room. The most concerning thing while I lived there was seeing packages torn into, and as far as I know, this is still a problem. Luckily no one ever stole or tore into any of my packages, but it's definitely something to be wary of. There were good things about the apartment, too. The walls were decently thick enough to keep out neighbor noise, there was always enough warm water, the fire alarm never went off randomly. I know other people have had bad experiences with bedbugs and construction noises and fumes, but I can't speak to any of that personally (even though construction was going on the whole year I lived there, it was rarely loud enough to bother me). All in all, Celio was fine for me. I was never going to live there for longer than a year, but it served its purpose as I settled into living on my own. And rent was relatively cheap, so you get what you pay for, I guess. Edit: I forgot to mention: if you live here, definitely join the Celio Residents Committee Facebook group! It's not affiliated with Celio management in any way and it's a great place to voice concerns and ask for advice. Really improved my living experience at Celio.

Celio is a great apartment building! The apartments have a competitive price compared to others in the location, and the managers and other staff are really friendly and communicate on point. Everything is always kept up and clean. The location is great. I barely use my car because I can walk everywhere: grocery shopping, restaurants, and bars both in the area and downtown, which is only about a 15 minute walk. The rooftop terrace definitely makes the place, because you can go up and socialize with nice neighbors and invite your friends over for a barbecue. My only complaint is that they lock the terrace at 10 pm, which I think is too early for some people who have different schedules, and I see no reason why it should be locked when we mostly all adults here and we should be able to enjoy it any time. I have met great people living here and it has been very cute and convenient. I recommend it!
