My Anut is in the ICU ward. This hospital only allows 2 people per day. PER day. Not like you can have 1 person (out of the 2) leave the room then the next family member can go in. I found this absolutely ridiculous if you have a good sized family. Further, if you have to drive the person there and the 2 people quota is done you CANNOT even wait in their waiting room in the downstairs foyer. They have chairs - not quite sure why. You have wait between the main door outside and and the next door of the entrance!! Just a joke. I thought family and friends encouraged the well being of the person by keeping them motivated. NOT HERE! Otherwise, I am sure itβs a fine hospital.and the incredible nurses, Doctors are only following management instructions. π€ Thx

My best friend recently went to this hospital. Upon arriving she was actively seizing on a stretcher, and her nurse Monica instructed her to wait in the waiting room instead of giving her the immediate attention needed. Once finally arriving to a room, her nurse Monica continued to ignore her concerns, and brushed my friend off when inquiring of what was happening. After, another nurse who failed to give her name, administered an incorrectly IV in her right arm. Since the IV was administered incorrectly, the result was blood all over her hospital covers. (My best friend is right handed meaning that is her dominant hand). Lastly, she was discharged the same night she went in after 3 consecutive days of intense seizing! The hospital didnβt even keep her overnight! This place is a complete nightmare, please go somewhere else.

I checked in for my surgery yesterday and must say how refreshing it was to have such a wonderful experience. I was greeted so warmly by lady at the front desk. The registration staff was very engaging and polite. I canβt say enough about Terrance and the RN (I forgot her name) were exceptional in their care and worked hard at putting my mind at ease as I was nervous about the surgery. I was transferred to the 5th floor for overnight observation. My night nurse Bridgit and Hafiza went above and beyond in ensuring all my needs were met. Today RN Julie, Kathy PCA Darlene and Charge nurse Crystal were amazing. The housekeeping staff introduced themselves and thank me for choosing Northside. The dietitian went over my options and made sure that a gluten-free meal was prepared for me. I cannot say enough about the staff at Northside Duluth. I thank them for making my stay a comfortable and pleasant one.

Had I told them who I was I'm sure the service would've been professional. I kept quiet and let them show the real them. There is a shortage in the healthcare field so service is just not the same when people sign up for bonuses and $ signs to make it. The triage is the worst Roberto and the other two ladies during the 3pm hour. It's obvious they don't like their job and have no compassion for the people who came there from medical attention. Once you get done with triage the nurse's in the back are much cooler only issue I had in the back was being asked if it was okay to lay the x-ray board on top of the dirty soil bin.
