Dr. Sommerville was great with our cats. They got great attention and care and the clinic was very transparent with regard to treatment recommendations and related costs. Test results were communicated so quickly, very unexpected. I am glad we selected Companion Veterinary Hospital for our "fur babies".

The staff is wonderful and caring. I have been taking my 2 fur babies to Companion Vet for 5 + years and the service and attentiveness has always been top notch. I highly recommend you take your loved four legged family member to this clinic...your pet will get the best care and attention always.

My dog is 5 months old. The staff was nice and accepted him as a new patient. The problem is, being accepted as a new patient means nothing to them. Once you're accepted, if you need an appointment, you can't get in. They told me "...We rely on the emergency hospitals in the area to see dogs when they need an appointment sooner than 3 weeks." My concern is they are still accepting new patients, but good luck if you actually need one. I would look elsewhere.

We've been coming to companion veterinary hospital since 2000 and have seen this place grow. The new veterinarian is an excellent addition. She is very attentive, therapeutic, and gives excellent patient teaching fornyour companion's plan of care.

Hi Becky. Thanks for the message. We do have a significant exam discount for litters of puppies. It is $29.00 per puppy for the examination. The health certificate is $39.00 per puppy. So it is $68.00 per puppy plus any applicable vaccines/deworming, etc. Please call (360) 455-8090 if you'd like to set up an appointment. Thank you!
They do provide a written estimate up front. Although most veterinary procedures are expensive, this clinic is more reasonable than the one I used previously. Being a small clinic, the staff know their clients & are responsive to their questions.
There are three key factors to look at to determine whether to have you bring your pet in to see the doctor: 1) Changes in energy level or eating habits 2) Changes in eating habits 3) Signs of pain or other discomfort If you notice any of the above, a physical examination is recommended. If you feel that something’s not quite right, trust your judgment. After all, you know your pet best!
Companion Veterinary Hospital holds an “A+” rating with the Washington State Better Business Bureau. The BBB has had zero complaints filed for CVH since it opened in 1999.
Companion Veterinary Hospital is in its 20th year (as of 2019). As a small family-run, woman-owned business, CVH doesn't have the huge budgets of corporate-chain stores like Banfield and VCA. To grow, they rely on positive word-of-mouth among a tight-knit group of loyal clients. So far, it’s working. CVH is the highest rated Lacey small animal veterinary hospital on Google.
I believe $25 each. $49.50 for dr visit if you haven't seen her in last yr. You can get vaccines by the techs otherwise.
