We used thrifty. Had to wait a very long time at the rental facility because they wouldn't stop trying to upsell us. Car had some minor damage. And was pretty clean but did find some used toothpicks.

You need to give sufficient time to return your rental. It's a bit of a shuttle drive back to the terminal. I'd recommend at least 15 minutes to be safe.

Worth the visit, even if you’re not renting cars. Funny building. Like an airport but for rental cars. Very short lines for a Sunday afternoon except for at Fox rent a car. Very clean facility and easy transportation to and from the airport.

Okay dude straight up I had no hassle getting my car from here for the week. The staff was very shorthanded but even with that they were patient which I appreciated cause a lot of the customers were not. I understand why but there's not reason to be rude to a guy who's got his hands full and is doing his best. It is what it is though I understood and I had an decent experience here.

There is always shuttle from/to rental car center
10 - 12 mins depending on traffic
Someone is always there to receive the vehicle.
Yes
They are available on the airport just follow the signs
It's very convenient and fast. They have personnel to help you load your luggage on to the shuttle.
Yes. They do.
I believe ALL the car rentals at SeaTac, are off the terminal location. So the shuttle ride is necessary.
I booked online and everything went well. Car rentals are just flat expensive these days though.
I used my driver's license and a major credit card 💳.
It's posted on signs all over and when you get your contract all worked out with whatever company you choose they tell you where to go for you car.
24 hours. Check it out: https://www.portseattle.org/sea-tac/ground-transportation/rental-car
I definitely saw parking for customer vehicles at or right next to the rental car facility.
Follow signs to rental car facility. Then follow specific sign to agency
Yes just leave the key inside and go
No. Area hotels have their own shuttle service. The car rental shuttle only travels to and from the terminal and rental center.
I think it's quite convenient compared to some other places I've been.
You can certainly get to the rental facility by a private car. You can drive into the parking lots, not sure if you'll easily find a parking spot - most of it is for exclusive use by rental companies.
Yes. Just get as close to the rental company where u are dropping off. Keep in mind that even if u take a wrong turn and go into the rental return areas they keep you locked in. They have to let you out
Yes, but like Randy said not all may be open. There is a shuttle bus 24/7 right outside of baggage pic up. That shuttle takes you to the car rental place that has all the providers. You can also call the rental providers at sea tac, for instance enterprise maybe one, and talk to them and get answer...or do it on your smart phone or computer. You have lots of options. Hope that helps
Priceline is a good site to rent from as well. They look at all the different car rental places in the area and find you the cheapest one.
That's pretty much a normal thing for all rental car companies. For under 25 they require the extra insurance.
There are roads/lanes on front and back of the large rental area and a small parking lot off to one side. Any of these would be good pick-up areas.
All the rental car companies open 24 hours and 7 days per a week! Go to main lobby! If no agent around, go to outside take escalators or elevators to rental car booth. 4th floor: ENTERPRISES ALAMOS NATIONALS 3RD: HERTZ THRIFT SIXT 2ND: AVIS BUDGET 1ST: EZ PAYLESS FOX DOLLARS
The Sea-Tac car rental facility is a separate building located away from the terminal. Shuttles run between the terminal and the rent facility, and the rental counters are on the top level (Same as the shuttle drop off)
Facility. You'll then walk to the airport terminal via skywalk bridge.
Previous visit was a breeze but Avis screwed up this visit. 90 minute wait in queue. Which followed a two hour Sound Transit Link delay due to an accident at Othello Station. Poor communication and off target ETA's. Glad I wasn't flying out and relying on Sound Transit to get me to a flight.
