Great place to bird watch and run the dogs. It can get pretty muddy, so make sure you wear the appropriate footwear. 4/5 mostly just because of the parking situation. The access road is narrow and dead ends at the trail head, and it can be tricky to turn larger vehicles around if there are already a number of cars parked on the road. This hasn't been an issue for us. We've gotten really lucky - it's never been too busy when go. Just a handful of people and their dogs.

A beautiful saltwater marsh! Wear waterproof boots or close-toed water sandals. Don’t expect dry feet. Getting to the beach requires pushing through tall grass, crossing narrow bridges and jumping over muddy trenches.

What a wonderful little hideaway. Great place to take the family. Make sure you take the far right path if you want to go to the beach though. Other two paths just lead into the wetlands (which is a pretty nice view itself).

Lots of biogeochemical processes at work here. Really neat ecosystem. Plenty of unmarked, muddy paths. Wear rubber boots and be careful not to disappear down a hole somewhere.
