I went there two days ago after a Telehealth visit. I had a sore throat. I was told they’d be expecting me. When I got there, they made me wait in my car for over an hour. I understand reasonable caution, and waiting, but this is a medical facility. It wasn’t hot that day, but the sun was out. It’s not healthy or safe to sit in a hot car for that long. The temperate inside my car got up to 101* from being the direct sun for that long. At this point in the Pandemic, I do expect better solutions from medical professionals. I was sick and needed help, they put me in a dangerous situation. I was dehydrated from the time in the hot car. Also I had to enter through the back like a leper, on the way out, I asked if I could have one of the candies sitting in a GIANT bowl of wrapped candies. I was told no. No offer for water, juice, and then put candies out and actually deny a patient? That’s just rude and uncouth. It’s two days later and the antibiotics I was given for strep throat, have not helped at all. She didn’t give me ANYTHING else to ease the pain, or help at all. Just (ineffective) antibiotics, assured dehydration and a brutal rejection.

We transferred our care here from Skagit Regional Health and it has been a night and day improvement! We are always able to get in the same day or next day for an acute issue, and the entire staff is kind and helpful. I see Dr. Capasso and my son and husband see Ross McConahey, PA-C.

No one here seems to know what they're doing. I am patient of the Family Care Network in Anacortes, and my doctor sent me to Cascade to do a NIPT blood test. I called in advance and they told me to come in next day. When I arrived at the location, they told me they couldn't do the test because they hadn't receive the paperwork for it. I asked them if they knew if my insurance would cover it, they told me that it would not. I asked how much it would be to pay it out of pocket, they told me it had to go through insurance regardless and I'd have to call my insurance to find out how much it would cost. I called my insurance, they said they would cover it, but I had a deductible to meet, so I wanted to know how much I'd be paying for this before my deductible and they told me I had to ask the lab. I called Cascade to try and find out how much this test would cost me, but no one knew, not the lab or the billing department. So frustrating, I'm just gonna go get this test done somewhere else, where they actually know what they're doing.

I have been going here for years. My original doctor here was incredible. She left about 3 years ago and any shred of human decency went with her. They will drop you (and they will lie to do it if they need to) for any reason. If you owe them any amount of money and they want it, they will yo-yo their patients until they get it. Are you on a medication that is detrimental to your physical or mental well being? Well, if you owe them money, they will make sure you are unable to fill that prescription or make a doctor's appointment until you pay them an amount that they deem "acceptable". And yes, all this took place smack dab in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic. When finding alternative care was pretty close to impossible. Sound like a trust worthy doctors office?The woman who runs the office, Jennifer, is rude and condescending. She does not care to help the patients who are under the care of her doctors. If you get set up with a doctor named Marcy Shapely, good luck. She is the rudest, most impersonable doctor I have ever had. Im on a medication that requires an appointment every 3 months. She was my primary for over 3 years and I only saw her 3 or 4 times. That doesn't quite add up. She failed to give me simple warnings on certain antibiotics that caused me to get heat stroke just last weekend. She lied and said I made an appointment (which I did not make. It says It was made on a Sunday, their office isn't even open on sundays) and then said I missed the appointment I didn't even make! And this was AFTER I paid off what I owed them! I cant help but think its because my wife and I are a gay couple. Or maybe we weren't the most "profitable" of patients? I honestly don't know. They just dropped her illegally today. I will be getting an attorney at this point. I really just want to warn others in my community. There are FAR better doctors and doctors offices in this area. I promise. Don't bother with these evil people. They are just lucky I haven't taken all this to social media. And I know Jennifer is going to be itching to respond to this review. I'm curious to see if she does. Because I have proof to every single claim I have made here. These are bad, selfish people who all just happen to work in the same office together. Save yourself the frustration and find another doctor.
