Terrible place to live!!!! The management was okay before but now it’s awful!!! They can’t even tell us why there is a balance on our account. All they said was that the apartment was dirty knowing good and well that it was not. My husband and I spent days cleaning it before we moved out. We literally moved 10 minutes down the street just because we could not stand living there with the AWFUL management!! Do yourself a favor and don’t live here.

If you are considering leasing at Longhorn Crossing Apartments – STOP and read this!! We have leased at Longhorn Crossing Apartments located at 1101 Longhorn Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76179 for about two years now and we can’t wait to MOVE OUT! The apartment complex has been sold about 3 times within the 2-year frame. Of course there is change in management and although some have been nicer than others, every time the apartment complex is bought out the new staff comes in and enforces different rules. We understand we must comply with the new rules, however, the attitude in which they are enforced is not the right one. Let me just add that the current staff is by far the WORST! They provide no customer service at all. They do not even care to listen to your concerns or issues…. so they obviously do not get resolved and you might think that we are writing this review because we are upset, which it’s true, but it's not just us. Our neighbors feel the same way. They have had the same experiences or in some cases worse. To give you an idea to what we are referring to and so you may make an informed decision whether you want to take the chance to live here or not. Here are some of the issues we have had with the staff. Issue #1 The apartment complex has a contract with a towing company to come and inspect the parking. We have seen cars towed before, however, it has been cars parked in a handicap spot which it’s totally understandable. Recently there has not been any towing and everyone (residents and visitors) have been parking where they wished, especially since there are plenty of parking spots available. On Friday, April 2, 2021, we parked it in a resident parking spot near our building, which should be ok since we are a resident. Unfortunately the vehicle was towed that night, we were charged $300 to take it out the next day. We immediately walked through the parking lot the same night, and we saw multiple vehicles parked in the resident parking without a sticker, we even took pictures. We attempted to talk to the staff hoping that they would consider reimbursement since we are a resident and not a visitor. The Assistant Manager, Tiana Gaskill rudely told me to come back on Monday to speak to the Property Manager, Tiffany Thomas. On Monday, April 5, 2021, I called the office and after multiple attempts Tiana finally answered. I was rudely told to try back at a later time. We were finally able to speak to the property manager, Tiffany Thomas, she showed no compassion nor did she make any effort to assist. Mrs. Thomas treated the issue very unprofessionally, disrespectful, and even took things personally. Her demeanor, attitude ,and her tone were very RUDE. We felt belittled by the unfair and rude treatment. The point we were trying to get across to them was the fact that there were so many other vehicles parked in the resident parking spots without a sticker and to be fair we felt that they should have issued warning notices to all which was never done. Issue #2 The complex has a pool as most apartments do. They also have a grill area available for resident to use as a first come first serve basis. During the summer we like to go out there and enjoy the pool and grill area. In the past we have ran out of propane in the middle of grilling. To avoid this from happening, we were planning ahead and requested that they refill the propane tanks so we wouldn’t run out, especially on the weekend. We requested this more than once and our request was not considered. We had no choice but to buy our own propane tank due to their incompetence. They also do a poor job in maintaining the pool in good condition. Right now the pool conditions are by far desirable. I would not want to get in that pool because of how disgusting it is. It looks very swampy. We have more issues with the apartment complex but could not list them all. I would give the management a no star rating if I could.

Tiana is the best! I visited on behalf of my cousin to tour the complex and it is very nice, but what sold her on leasing with Longhorn was Tiana because of her friendly, positive attitude and responsiveness in all communications. She genuinely cares about others and it shows in how she interacts with everyone. I highly recommend talking to her if you are considering moving to this area.

I’ve lived here at Longhorn Crossing for a full year now and it was a good place to live but it has become an even better place. The apartment is a good size, the amount of the rent is in keeping with area and is a good price, the property is kept up nicely. Maintenance is always prompt, most problems have been taken care of in a timely manner. New management has been fabulous with taking care of my lease for a second year. I highly recommend this property
