I wish i could spent more time here with my boyfriend and my family. This place is very suitable for camping or outdoor activities. It is really huge, super natural and beautiful. You can enjoy peaceful environment here with fresh air. Hope to spend more time here again.

Blackhill park is my favorite park in the world. Yes. In the world. I just love how the park is ALWAYS clean, the grass is always trimmed, the geese are always happy and last but not least, the amazing lake. I love going to Blackhill park all year around to relax or to take landscape pictures. It’s a great place for families and kids too. You can grill and have birthday parties with your loved ones. It is also a very safe park. Special thanks to the Park Police who make sure we are all safe. I highly recommend you visit Blackhill Park

One of the best places to come and relax. It's so calm and peaceful. You can spend hours together and just stare at the lake. They have paddle boats which can be rented. It's a beautiful location to come and have a picnic. You can just wet your feet in the water but not allowed to swim. There's a trial which you can do which is alongside the lake. Overall, this is a great place to visit and have your own quite time in meditation and prayer.

I love visiting this park, and have been doing so since 1995. My children loved the playgrounds and exploring the nature center. Lots of great walking paths, too.

Yes, with two caveats: They must be "under your control", this means a leash; You need to clean up if your pet poops, you cannot just leave it there. Oddly, the clean up rule does not seem to apply to horses.
My friend did it... cops didn't come...
I've seen several people fish around the lake and on boats. Might need a permit. I don't know the terms ie catch and release etc

Boating season is typically March 1 through November 30. One season we had a delayed opening due parts of the lake still being frozen. Boat Rentals start the first weekend in May to the last weekend in September.
Not really
I'm not 100% sure but I don't believe you can't swim there, you can bring your dog, they even have a special area of the park for the dog, but you can go anywhere with the dog. I believe the admissions is free right now.
Depends on weekday/weekend. 13/14 for most boats. 11/12 for pedal boats. https://www.montgomeryparks.org/parks-and-trails/black-hill-regional-park/black-hill-boats-little-seneca-lake/
New boat rental house Bird watching
Or where is Blair's witch forest?
Technically, no. Nobody can swim there. In reality, if you get off the path, and Park Staff don't see you... Happens all the time.
No. Swimming is not allowed.
No, but there are fireworks at South Germantown Recreational (SoccerPlex)

I'm pretty sure if you're on a walk-in basis you can BBQ with any available area. As far as the special weekend you may have to pay.
Its $85 to rent a "mooring site", plus the $75 annual license fee to put the boat in the water. See the "Mooring Sites" section on this page. Sites opened up 3/1/2019 and are first come first served. https://www.montgomeryparks.org/parks-and-trails/black-hill-regional-park/black-hill-boats-little-seneca-lake/
Lake Seneca at Black Hill Regional Park is being lowered in preparation for a culvert repair project and causeway renovation. You can read more about it here: https://montgomeryparks.org/projects/directory/black-hill-regional-park-causeway-culvert-renovation/
No
Many of the restrooms have a coke machine outside. Nothing beyond that.
Yes
No, last time was a few days ago, I entered with no fees. There's a sign that says you pay some times I guess according to the season, but something like 3 dollars. But I did not pay, the park can't be missed. Very beautiful.
Yes. Fishing license required.
There is a ramp. No gas motors allowed. Couple of years ago I used low power electric motor. Not sure about boat licence but fishing license is required (park police can make license check anytime during the day).
No. Dogs must be on leash at all times, and humans are not allowed to swim.
Try calling 311. If they can't answer for you they can let give you the phone number for the visitors/nature center who, i expect, can answer your question.
Yes. They are market with alphabets
The park opened to the public in June 13, 1987. The Visitor Center opened in 1991.
