I've seen several people fish around the lake and on boats. Might need a permit. I don't know the terms ie catch and release etc
You need a Maryland freshwater fishing license, and that's pretty much standard for every state-owned place. Private property needed has some weird instructions for empty. The 40 bucks to get it is way worth it, compared to the $200 on it for not having one and getting caught. Speaking from experience :-)
