Smells awful in the lobby. I saw people literally bleeding out on the floor and maintenance would just act like it was no big beak and quickly clean it clean it up as they were cleaning blood up off the floor. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The pool was never open and the heat never worked all winter. Me and my cats froze in my apartment for months and maintenance just said they are working on it and refused to give me a heater at first. Do not live here if you value your sanity. Find somewhere else.

These places look cool and I’m interested in moving here, but I’ve had nothing but a bad experience trying to schedule a walkthrough or even get general information about them from their rental office. My emails were ignored, and after finally talking to a very rude agent on the phone (I was told they were too busy to respond to emails), I learned that their advertised rates were for low income applicants, and that I could only apply for “market rate” apartments, but was not given a price range for those. Nowhere on their site or listings does it say anything about income restrictions , and it feels very dishonest to market your place that way (advertise one price then tell people they don’t qualify for that). Like I said, from a visual standpoint and from what I’ve seen from driving by this place, I am still very interested in living at this complex, but the customer service from the rental office has not been good.

Grand Lowry Lofts has been my home for almost 3 years. I remember when I was taken on the tour and discovered they offered temperature controlled secure underground parking at a very reasonable monthly charge with lots of handicap parking. reasonable secure storage. There is plenty of free off street parking as well. They also have a big swimming pool and a jacuzzi with lots of chairs and tables with umbrellas. A fenced in dog park. A small but nice gym with newer equipment. There are elevators in different parts of the buildings. They have a great team in the office as well as prompt, friendly and skilled people that are available 7 days a week if something needs to be fixed. At times it is like they are concierge. I am living in a one bedroom apartment with 12 foot ceilings and a lot of light coming in. I also have a huge patio. In the kitchen there is a pass thru you can pull up bar stools that works like a built in table. There is an abundance of wall plug ins. Big bathroom with lots of mirrors full size shower and tub. Vanity with lots of drawers. It is generally pretty quiet plus it is a smoke free property. Perfect does not exist in apartment living. Overall A killer location with Safeway literally a stones throw away, the beer garden, the gelato shop, dry cleaning and a bunch more. Add it all up this a great place to live.

Grand Lowry is an old building with numerous ongoing maintenance issues. I have lived here 12 years and have seen it all, and when it comes to anything that could go wrong, it most certainly will. I would like to talk about the maintenance staff, because I don't think they get enough credit. Carlos, Juan, and Curtis are absolutely fantastic! They respond immediately to requests, and are always courteous and friendly. I have been so impressed with their professionalism and expertise, not to mention the number of times they have come quickly to assess or fix an issue. I can't praise them enough. Of the dozens of maintenance personnel I have interacted with over the years, they are far and away the best.

Questions & Answers

I’m confused as to how over $1100 per month for a two bedroom apartment is considered housing for “low income families?” That’s more than my monthly SSD check. Very disappointed to find this figure attached to low income housing.

Half of it is low income and the other half is standard living.

Was anyone else defrauded by them??. My money was taken. I was told i was put on a waiting list that takes approx 2 years. The company was sold before that and all applicants were purged.. Now i have to reapply and pay MORE MONEY.

I would avoid this place like the plague. I'm depressed and its a living hell for me currently and I'm saving up to move out if at all possible and also working on trying to gather people and make a lawsuit against them for multiple things scince I lived here. I'm also disabled and have autism and PTSD. They are completely uncaring of people and issues and just pay lip service but say stuff behind tenants backs. These people are straight up evil and they will burn in hell. This is hands down the most corrupt management I have ever dealt with in an apartment and I can't wait til I can leave. Stay strong and warn others of this place. Dont be taken in.
