Friendly and very helpful at answering questions. Got to view a 1 and 2 br and discuss what would fit my needs. Not always the best at answering the phone but that may just be because they are busy ( seemed so while I was there ) area seems to be nice for the price and location. Also like that places are being actively renovated.

0 Stars! It wouldn't allow me to post without clicking at least one star. Don't move here. Terrible! I had no place for a whole week because they did not have my place together and I had already moved out of my old place. Once I finally got into my apartment, there was so much wrong with it that they kept saying they would fix. A year later, still nothing fixed after I sent them multiple emails over the past year. Now they have the nerve to take the rent up, and it shouldn't even be the old amount to begin with. They even tried to add an extra month onto my lease when I notified that I was moving out. And the mice are terrible as well. Thankful to be leaving! Do not move here!!!

We just moved into one of the townhouses a month ago, so I cant comment on the apartments, but we love our townhouse. It's the largest and best situated in the area for the price and they had us moved in right away once we turned in the app. Of the three apartment buildings I've lived in, this one is the least fancy, but with the best management. I know there used to be issues with turnover and responsiveness with the previous owners/managers, but the current team is awesome and cares so much about our comfort. Unlike some places I've lived, the townhouse was not spotless when we walked through, the carpets weren't new, etc. But... I don't mind in the least, because the property manager Tracy noticed it was dusty and had someone there that afternoon to clean it out, and he had all of the minor issues like burned out lightbulbs and messed up blinds fixed immediately. I went back maybe four times that week for other minor fixes like a broken door knob in one bedroom and a loose dead bolt, and every single time he immediately dropped what he was doing and came to personally fix the issue right then and there. The couple things he couldn't fix himself he called one of Village's repair guys for, and they were there within an hour and fixed it. I see Tracy and a couple other staff members 3 or 4 times a week when I walk my dog, and every time they see me they ask how we're doing and if there's anything else we need help with or fixed, plus they always stop to pet my dog and give him a treat if they've got one. Additionally, I've heard a lot about past issues with violence and drugs in the complex, and while I can't speak to what goes on at the apartments I can say that I walk my dog very early in the morning and sometimes very late at night when it is dark out and I have never once felt unsafe. We were given a direct line to the security officer that patrols Village and I see them pass by regularly in the evenings, plus there is a fairly heavy police presence near the highschool, and those officers also drive around and sometimes through this complex when they patrol, so I see them all the time. I have yet to see or smell any drugs, violence, gang activity, etc, and I'm confident if I do, it'll be taken care of. I know this place has a bad reputation because of past management, but if you're looking for a friendly, clean, and cheap place to live, please just stop by for a walk through. They won't pressure you and you'll get to see how much the place has improved and how nice the staff are. By the way, I never review anything online, but I offered to write this one solely because I have been so impressed with this place, and I wanted people to know things have changed instead of just relying on old reviews.
