Been here since September 2020. Needed a place ASAP and this is what we could afford. Old apartments need a lot of updating. Our apartment is spacious but lots of old appliances. Also maintenance seems to take along time to respond back. We were out a dishwasher for almost a month. Our upstairs neighbors yell and cuss constantly :/ Wouldn’t recommend anyone coming here unless this is what they could afford.

I moved to Whispering Pines in May of 2020 on the west side of the community. I cannot speak on any of the other buildings, but mine is quiet and my neighbors are courteous. The spacing and interior of the apartments are gorgeous! I feel safe as I come and go, and this is everything to me as a teacher! Everyone in the office are respectful and attentive. The only thing from keeping this from being a complete 5 is the main grounds are not kept up during the warmer months, maintenance appears to be backlogged and the hallways are pretty worn. Since these superficial things are easier to fix than things like disrespect, etc., which I have NEVER experienced here... I definitely recommend and have recommended friends to live here!

Have been living in this apartment for three years. This place is near to 21st and Wanamaker where major business outlets of Topeka are located. The overall experience have been good. Once you are inside your room, you hardly listen any outside noise. So its peaceful and safe. To be honest, the maintenance team are 24/7 ready and fix the issues within 30-60 mins of the call. They deserve big thanks and hot coffee!

We have lived here for 16 months. We did move buildings due to mold but we were the only one’s on the floor in that building. They worked to get another apartment ready for us. It is an older complex. But any and all maintenance requests I’ve needed have been handled. I can’t blight them for being short staffed. If it is something that needs done ASAP, complete the maintenance request then call them. Sara, Miami and Kierra have ways done me good.
