Good location but parking fee at$38 per night is crazy. Spoke to manager Chuck Keith that we are gold members staying 3 nights using our points but he gave us a stern “NO”. When we stayed at other Marriott properties, they normally wave the fees when we use the points, so we were very disappointed. We probably stay another property next time we visit Pittsburgh. Mary and Jaylin at the front desk were very professional though.

Beautiful newly renovated rooms, valet parking, top floor bar with a view, friendly staff, room service; what more could we want. This is a great location when visiting Pittsburgh and the rooms a super. The staff seem committed to giving their customers a wonderful experience from the valet, to the doorman, to the checkin. This is my new favorite hotel in the city.

Nice hotel , but IMO overpriced. Rooms spacious enough but really odd lighting in bath.....great shower. No vending machines, over priced snacks if you order. Prepare to pay 35.00 per day for parking.. not many options. Baker service is prompt.

The only place I will ever stay when I come to Pittsburgh is The Oaklander. Gorgeous rooms, a beautiful rooftop bar and steps from many great restaurants. My only gripe is the staff is 50/50 here. Sometimes you get super friendly people and other times they have been very standoffish but the rooms and views keep me coming back! Super friendly valet staff too!
