We have stayed at this hotel before & it was better back then. Our most recent stay was pretty poor. First, when we walked into the room, I immediately smelled human urine. It was disgusting. So I sprayed Lysol & used Clorox wipes to wipe down everything. Second, the toilet wouldn’t flush very well. I’m not super impressed with the room at all. I believe it will be the last time we stay at a red roof.

Positive: I wasn¿t murderer in my sleep so that¿s something. Negative: As soon as we pulled up I looked at the cancellation policy. There should be a time frame for cancelling once you see the hotel in real life. The room had exterior entry & smelled like urine. I slept on top of my own blanket for fear of touching anything

Craftsman on the Lake

The state police just left with the people in the parking lot yelling and telling them off. It's 2;25 AM. I'm peering through my curtain with the lights out. There has been yelling and swearing around us all night. they would threaten to do things to each other that wouldn't pass google's sensors. Someone threw someone up against the wall outside our room a couple of hours ago. It seems they start up again about every half hour. My wife looks like she's been terrorized. I've convinced her the doors are steel and with good locks. We would have left during the night but are probably better inside until daylight. We're both in our late 60's and wouldn't stand much of a chance with what's going on outside. I hope the car is okay. Nice room, nice inn. Really bad night. I've got a lot of driving to do in the morning. I may have to stop someplace else to sleep first. I've never had an experience like this in all my years. God, this is awful.

Scooter Racing

I have been here before a few times over the years, but I swear, this was the best. The receptionist was great, personable and funny. The room was perfectly clean, well appointed with safe and refrigerator in microwave TV. The bathroom was clean and the shower was amazing, clean water very drinkable, and great pressure. Best hotel for the dollar in the region. Thank you! I have a new overnight stop for my mini trips.
