We made a last minute switch to this hotel because it had a pool- that was the only reason. The temps were high and we had a 5 year old traveling with us for a mid week getaway. Luckily my husband was able to fix most of the issues in the room. The fridge was turned all the way down, actually warm but running- the dial was in a weird inaccessible spot but we found it and turned it up. The bathroom door was coming off the hinges and I nearly got stuck in it before we had realized. The shower head was leaking/spraying straight up and out of shower and you could see where numerous patch jobs had been completed, instead of fixing the shower head. My husband was able to fix it, as well as the leaky ac unit. Two positive points to hotel were great water pressure and overall location— just don’t stay in room 208.

The Stones

Very clean and well maintained. Plenty of parking. Well kept pool. The manager is very friendly and professional. The location is amazing! Just steps to Shepherd Park or the Lobster Pot. The only complaint I have is that the free coffee they serve in the lobby is awful. Too weak and tasteless.

Happy, efficient, hardworking staff. Room was very clean, location great and it's pet friendly! Will definitely book again when we head to Lake George.

In my wife and myself opinion this is the most perfectly located hotel in town, can walk to literally everything in 5 to 10 minutes, plenty of parking and affordable, also the rooms are super clean.
