This was a horrible, negative experience. My young boys had been looking forward to our trip for weeks. Especially getting to use the pool while it was still freezing cold April. At check-in the clerk was not even friendly - barely said two words. She certainly did not say a word about any pool rules. The pool room is locked and does not even open with the hotel room key. Apparently you’re supposed to ask to be let in at the front desk. A boy in the pool room let us in despite his mother yelling at me to ask at the desk if I’m allowed to swim. What is this? Prison? Not 3 minutes into my boys and I swimming and splashing and enjoying our time, we were demanded to get out of the water due to some elusive rule of needing two adults in the pool in order to use it. We literally had to stop swimming and get out, as if we were some sort of insubordinate trouble-makers. The worker said the clerk at check-in was supposed to have me sign a waiver regarding this rule and she claimed she didn’t see my two children with me. What a sick lie as my kids and I were the only people standing against the desk and proceeded to even look at their free cookies. One could not possibly miss my kids, especially because I was talking with them during check-in. This is discrimination against single parents. If this “law” of theirs is so necessary, they need to post it in large bold print on their website, in the lobby, in the rooms. Needless to say, they lost my business and we left to a much more hospitable, friendly, and clean hotel with a gorgeous pool AND hot tub, which this hotel has advertised but was disappointingly boarded up.

We have stayed here several times and had good experiences until we stayed last night. We were given a room with a broken jetted tub, a broken shower (knob wouldn't turn to hot and the water never got above cool). There was no bedding for the pull out bed for my son. There was sticky stuff on the couch cushions that got on my pants. We asked when we checked in about the pool and were given the hours (which were different than the website). When I tried bringing my son to the pool in the morning (so my husband could sleep in before our long drive) I couldn't get into the pool room. When I asked at the desk I was told I would need another adult to bring my son to the pool. This led to autistic son having a complete meltdown. We will be looking for another hotel.

I chose this hotel because it said they had a pool and fitness room. I also saw pics of a jacuzzi in a room. Well we were told no more Jacuzzis. Pool was closed the 2 days we spent there because of some kid vomiting in it? really? And fitness room was also closed and not avail either. very disappointing. It felt like false advertising They also wanted me to pay again for the room at checkin even thou I had prepaid and had receipt. Heater had a rattling noise every time it came on. The cookies, breakfast, coffee and clean bed was a positive.

Positive: The breakfast selection & unlimited coffee & fresh baked cookies. Hot & cold options. Freshly made waffles. Etc. Food was the best part of this hotel. Negative: They did not enforce the mask mandate. The pool rules were not clear prior to reservation and we were not able to use the pool as a result. Not enough luggage carts. There was trash under the chair seaT cushion from previous occupant.
