I’ve had 3 different instructors from my time here. Tyson, marty, and emmanuel. All of them are very nice and supportive, but do criticize and make the experience not as good when you’re stressed. They can be very helpful, but when you are super stressed out and things start to go down, they flip a switch and all of the sudden they don’t act as nice anymore. They probably just want to make sure you’re being safe and defensive, but they need to know that we’re stressed too. Also, it’s not helpful when you’re stressed and they just make the situation worse.

I have to leave a review for Mr Emmanuel. He is the most amazing instructor in my driving journey in the US. The school should give him a raise. He made my drive really comfortable and is really knowledgeable. In my 30 minutes warm up before test, he gave me some really useful tips which helped me. 100% recommend this center and no one else in WA.

I took 10 one hour lessons, however the lessons were never an hour. It was 45 mins, since they have back to back lessons scheduled for the instructors. I was always early for the lessons, but was 30 mins late for the last session as I had an emergency. I called and let them know I was running late and was hoping I could reschedule or they could accommodate extra 15 mins as they always cut the lesson short to 45 mins. They told me they cannot accommodate and had to follow their 48 hour cancellation policy. I suggested to their representative that there needs to be a policy for emergencies and she was rude to me. Overall, poor experience. The instructors are good at explaining, but talk non stop jumping from one topic to the other which can be distracting and confusing to follow. It’s more talking and less practice, which didn’t help me.

I took lessons and the test at this location last year. Marty and Melkis were great instructors. Highly recommended.

Yes, you would need a learner's permit. You'll need to register with the Dept. of Licensing and take the knowledge test to qualify.
Unless one is under the age of 18 (where a required classroom and behind-the-wheel course is necessary), there is not a minimum requirement for lessons. For someone who has never had previous experience and no opportunities to practice, the average number of lessons needed ranges from 12 to 15 in order to get to a point where one can pass the license skill exam.
Our teen courses are: $595. Adult private classes are $75 per session (or $65 if you sign up for 5 lessons).
