I've heard great things about this restaurant and have been driving by it to and from work for the last 5 years, tonight was the night I finally stopped in! Tuesday night is trivia night at the bar, so we chose not to sit in there but good to know they have trivia! We were seated right away. The menu had a good selection and so many things I wanted to try but the flank steak was calling my name. It was cooked perfectly and the shoe string fries and seasonal veggies were delicious. My husband got the burger and hardly said a word while eating it, it seemed as if he couldn't eat it fast enough. I was pleasantly surprised this place was as good as it was and didn't even realize it's a steak house with many options. It was not what I expected and very glad I went in. It's good to know that there is a good place to eat within 30 minutes of my house to add to my list! Well definitely be back!

Our favorite restaurant since moving to the area. Fantastic burgers, great steaks. The prine rib is on point as well. The change the menu "except a few staples" every season. They makes really good pasta too. We have had a few bad meals, but the past few have been great. We go every few months, when ever my parents are in town, specials occasions. It's a bit pricey, or we would go more often. Was also sad to see they stopped taking reservations on the weekends. We tried the brunch, and won't be returning for that.

Are you looking for a new spot to kick back and enjoy yourself with great ambiance, an eclectic menu for every pallet and signature drinks for an evening out? Look no further, take it from us, we travel and eat out a lot. We found a hidden gem not far from Tacoma in the little town of Milton WA. Called The Mill. The food is exceptional each time we have eaten there- and quite frankly we frequent this spot often. Trust us, it’s worth the drive! BUT five star quality food, the ambiance and an array of drinks, is not what has us coming back for more, it’s quite simply the PEOPLE behind the magic. We have to give HUGE KUDOS to Brandon, Christie, Ray and who can forget Patrick, their intrepid leader and manager. We can’t say enough good things about Brandon; he was our first impression of the Mill. He has always been so welcoming, he’s the reason we came back the second time. He goes above and beyond for us, including one night coming in late, he asked the kitchen to serve us- we kept it simple but the gesture alone was and is a huge selling point and why we are writing this review. Brandon is always ready for our banter and exchange of puns, plus he introduced us to the “Juicy Asian Pear” a Mill specialty concoction created by their own in-house mixologist, Ray! This guy knows how to mix flavors, spirits and elixirs to create one of a kind thirst quenching beverages that have you coming back for more, he definitely knows his way around a bar. Christie, well, she is a doll! This girl knows her customers, she introduced us to the killer Mac and cheese! We highly recommend you try that too. She’s personable and an absolute delight. So, in short, if you are looking for the TRIFECTA- STELLAR service, exceptional food and beverage and a welcoming atmosphere, look no further! Go to the Mill in Milton, tell them Dino and Julia sent you! They will welcome you with a smile.

I just called The Mill-they do NOT have a dance floor. The Employee said if people want to dance they go up in front of the band and dance there but there is definitely not a dance floor but a dance "area" there but you can still dance! I also must comment on the owner of THE MILL answering "Yes" like there is one & then going on to say can move tables. Why insinuate at all there is one when there isn't?
Hi Jannette, the charge was for a Teres Major steak which in our system is reflected on the receipt as a "bistro" steak. Does this answer your question? We'd be happy to look into it further for you if you'd like to give us a call!
I remember asking about that but I never really understood their explanation.
Very kid friendly. They have 2 different types of fries too and what kid doesn't like fries and you won't find a better steak. If you have the appetite get the cowboy steak. You definitely won't regret it
@Gavin Hawkins All staff are in a mask at all times. There are necessary barriers placed where they need to be and it is clearly very clean and sanitized regularly.
I ate dinner there, it's a little expensive BUT lots of food, very good quality! Well worth it!
Check their FB page for specials. We've had outstanding service and high quality food.
The prices are due to locally sourced fresh ingredients. Whether it's worth the price is a matter of choice.
