Such a good experience getting our puppy. Put in an application, got a call the next day and made an appointment to go see her. Several staff members helped us, a great team. Will return and have recommended to people!

Love this place. The folks who run it are so sweet and caring with the pups. Anyways I adopted my little guy a few days ago and we couldn’t be more thrilled! I look forward to our training class so that we can learn how to communicate (recommended by ODR).

AMAZING group of people working to find homes for these sweet dogs. We found a timid scared little pup who has just flourished once she settled in. It took a few days, but by day 3, I was able to pick her up! Something that Lindsey said they hadn't been able to do. We did rename her from Caty to Maisie. Our other dog took a couple of days to get over her jealousy of the new pup, but they get along great now and I often find them cuddled together. I would definitely recommend this dog rescue and will return when we look to rescue another dog in the future.

Very polite and helpful. The entire process from filling out the adoption request to bringing home our new puppy was less than a day. Gave us time for the entire family to meet our newest addition and was forthcoming with all the information needed.

You will spend time with the dog you choose and the personnel there will watch your interaction. You'll be asked questions about your home life and will the dog be inside outside. They expect that you will bring all of the dogs that you already have so that they can see how the dogs behave and meet and greet and all that. They will expect that you will bring all of the people that live in your home so that they can meet them. There's some paperwork to fill out that asks questions about your family how many dogs you have how many people how many kids? And that's about it they will just judge how well you interact with the dog. That's about it. Hope this helps.
I THINK you have to be 13 to volunteer and 18 to work there. Maybe 16 to volunteer. If you are underage for it you can have an adult come with you
Yes, they rescue from kill shelters.
Prisli, you must have had the opposite experience than what we had. Ours was a great experience and we would definitely go back for another dog. First we got to meet Prize outside where our two dogs met him, too. That worked out. Then we went into a small room with a half door and got to interact with Prize. He was shy at first, but then allowed my wife and I to hold him. Our two small dogs interacted with him and they approved. We decided to adopt him and filled out paperwork. We also purchased a collar, a lead and a crate for Prize to sleep in for very reasonable prices. Then we left with our new dog. Our experience was excellent. We saw another couple and they were having a great experience, too.
I know that there is a program in place because they were talking about the foster home of a particular dog i just dont now all the details of becoming one. Youll have to call them and ask. let me know what you find out and/or if you have any problems
This is a consumer forum. It is not run by or monitored by the facility Check their website. There is a form you can fill out for dogs you would like to rehome. or you can call them
You should check them out!
🤦♀️like the other person said they are very active on social media, maybe follow them and keep your eye out for the dog you are looking for.
This is the best place in the Pacific Northwest to get a animal. I spent $400, however, at the same time I picked up some other items. My puppy was and is very healthy. And doesn't have any side effects of trauma that can be caused by poor handling. ( Like most other places, )
Tualatin River Greenway Trail is nearby
Adoption fees vary. Each dog in their listings show the fee for that specific dog in the description.
❤️
I don't have an answer for you but I wanted to say that is super awesome!
There's a screening process, to help make sure you're getting an appropriate dog for your house hold. But they love to answer questions feel free to give them a call.
Dogs don't hate kids. I have never had a dog that didn't like anybody. Unless I was being attacked.
What kind of dog?
The price ranges on the dog. I think we paid $285 for our lovable guy. I'm pretty sure if you look at the website it tells you 👍
You can get a pet preserved or stuffed but that would be more for a taxidermist than a pet rescue shelter.
They are good people. We got our 🐕 there six months ago
The youngest dogs should be adopted is 8 weeks old and there are always expenses in getting a new dog. Dont limit yourself to just a golden, there could be a different breed that becomes perfect.
They stapled my receipt to the package of info given at the time. Good luck on your adoptee!
Go there and tell them what kind of dog you want and they'll bring dogs out to show you. Or you can see all the dogs they have on there web site. If your renting you need to have your managers approval fill out some paperwork and pay a fee.
Call them
Yes, there is a adoption fee . However, this place stinks. I recommended safe Haven. Awesome place. They take care of animals the proper way. This place doesn't..
Go online as they post daily.
When we adopted here just about 8 weeks ago, most of the young puppies were a flat 400 but that also includes all of their shots and their spayed or neuter, plus your first vet check. Most other dogs were 125 -250 ish. Check web site. http://www.latimes.com/politics/la-na-pol-pot-sessions-20180104-story.html
Yes. The fee also covers quite a bit of services that your pet needs before adoption.
Call
You can go to their Instagram page and they always post pics of dogs that were adopted or ready to be adopted and will tell if they are good with kids
Check their website!
Foster care requires more commitment than 2 days. Ideally you are experienced in dog behavior and confidant you can provide the necessary safe, clean, secure, quiet home, otherwise you risk doing more harm than good not to mention it's nearly impossible to do. Contextually I would advise against.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I would check the ODR page often & you can set alerts on Petfinder.
This is a forum for consumers. Please get in touch directly with Oregon dog rescue. They also have an online form for rehoming your dog
First, they will need an up to date shot record in your name. If you have that already, you can call their office during normal business hours, explain the situation and if they have room, they'll want to schedule a temperament test. If your pup passes, they can take her in.
They also have an online application for accepting dogs for placement. You can fill that out as well. good luck!
You need to get in touch with the facility directly.Google people are only here to give you their experiences with places
I would either call the dog rescue or post on Craigslist
Pretty sure to volunteer you have to be 13
Try looking at their instagram page or visit them in person. They have many awesome dogs!
