!After a few minutes of being in room we started to have runny nose and felt itchy. Only to realize there there was dog hair all over the place. Not to mention the stains on bedding and bed skirts. When I asked front desk if our room had pets and if had been cleaned. He said we are a pet friendly hotel so yes at one point dogs had been in the room. He then proceed to say if it's a problem he can check us out and we could go somewhere else!!! I was beside myself by his rude comment as I'm an avid dog lover! Most hotels have specific rooms designated for pets.I asked if we could have a different room he said he had none available. Then he stayed he would send someone to come look at the room as if I was lying. But he did send someone a cleaning lady came in vacuumed the floor and wiped down the dog hair with a spray. When we pointed out the disgusting bed skirts she just sprayed and wiped them down. All while my family was being awkwardly shuffled around. I ended up purchasing Lysol spray and wipes to clean most surfaces I'm the room. Bathroom had cracks in tub, screws all over the floor. Breakfast is bare minimum only 2hrs attendant starts putting stuff away before 9. Bugs in the lobby and dog poop all over grounds. We've never stayed in a La Quinta before and definitely will not ever again after this experience!!

Check in was easy. Room was fairly cleaned, bathroom was not cleaned very well some of the towels had lipstick stain on them. We also asked for a later check out and we were denied on a Wednesday we have never been denied a later check out in any other hotel we’ve been to. With there being so many other hotels around the area I would not recommend coming here. Staff was rude specifically the day manager who is a man.

This place was pretty good. The outside sound was blocked, but the neighboring room was not. We could hear them as if they were in our room. The room was clean and well appointed. The door was sticking and when we reported it they did not fix it. The bathroom was good. It is very close to a bunch of restaurants. you can walk to Cracker Barrel. The staff was very nice. The breakfast sounded lame (all carbs) so we didn't bother looking at it. We went down the street to US Egg. There are multiple grocery stores nearby. The room had micro and fridge. You are near I-10 and 202 Loop. That made it very convenient. I would prefer a facility with fuller breakfast. There is a dip in the floor in our room 424. Really awkward. I liked the couch for eating and watching. The TV moved well for all locations of viewing.

Pet friendly, had a really nice stay. Rooms were clean updated with older furnishings. During our 9 day stay the keys went out quite frequently catalytic converter in our vehicle was stolen parked in the back of the building which was well lit most days. They do not have cameras in the back, was told just the lobby and front area had cameras.
