2022 Mar 02 weather forecast - intermittent rain over many parts of W WA .. and Falling Tide (Port Gamble - Low Tide 10:55 4.76 ft) gave me the opportunity for a fun ramble at Shine Tidelands & Wolfe Property State Parks 😀 .. where i did the (Alltrails named): "Hood's Head Trail". Started Out: ~09:00 and got Back at: ~10:45 Only got a few drops of light rain upon during my ~1:45 hours of ramble. i only saw - in a distance from me - a young man and his dog. And saw a few Seagulls, and probably, Canadian Geese too. The "Trails" were on the beach .. As such, its not surprising that there were rocks, stones, pebbles, sand, mud, driftwoods - occasionally slippery .. but passable with care. Btw, the Porta Potty at Shine Tidelands S.P. trailhead was opened and clean. Thank y'all - Maintenance Crew 👍 Happy Trails Everyone 😇

Lots of parking, people were clam digging when we were there. It was on a Monday so not crowded. Pretty views. No real amenities so if you came for a nice picnic that's probably not the place.

Great views of the floating bridge and the Hood Canal. Only problem is the state park fees. Also the seaweed was a little problem.

Beautiful sunrise, lovely beach, crazy interesting trees. The only reason I gave it 4 out of five is a friend and I went up in the bushes for less than an hour came back to find a huge doe dead on the beach that hadn't been there before it was strange

There is no overnight camping there. It is just a day park. Closes at dusk. Has a boat ramp. But no facilities.
